They have been laying it low for 2 years now, the Sinaloa Cartel basically robbed a lot of it's territory but now there is a kind of truce between them. Last I heard Sinaloa and La Familia pay "quota" or "tax" to the Arellano Felix Cartel/Tijuana Cartel in order to pass drug thru their city/border.

Man do these cartel gunmen have balls to get into shootouts, it's crazy how Mexico has changed, I would of never thought to see this type of violence and shootouts in Mexico when I was growing up. Do you know who's fighting in Nayarit?
