Re: Pacoima Piru?

i dont think those are legit sources. What you should do is pass by the area again and see if you see any fresh graffiti. What street did you see this graf? Well this was many miles away in Pasadena, under a freeway, but the red paint and those online remarks got me wondering. I guess it's just a t...

Pacoima Piru?

I originally assumed this was done by a tagger, but now I wonder if it is Pacoima Pirus. This was done way outside of the SFV however.

Anyone recognize this?

Re: defunct Crip sets

Converse Alley Crips I first saw that L.A. gangs booklet in the early 90s, and I've always thought "Converse Alley Crips" was a hoax, i.e., someone hit it up somewhere, and the cops took the bait. The location doesn't make sense. Also: Altadena Playboy Gangsters Pasadena Crips East Side Pasa As a f...

Re: TEN OLDEST CHICANO GANGS IN L.A.

Varrio Pasa Rifa may have existed way back in the day, but they didn't have a continuous history up to the present. I never heard of them in the late 70s to early 80s, and old newspaper accounts list all kinds of other Pasadena gangs but not VPR. The other thing is - they're not listed in that 1982 ...

Re: Latin Kings

PLK was the first Latino gang I heard about in Pasadena and that was in the early 80's so they pre-date that. I grew up in the area and none of the established Latino gangs in Dena is from the 90's. I got homeboys from ABC and LK's always been up there around them. They was probably before them and...
