Moving to the US

Ok i'm a white Canadian and i'm moving to somewheres in the US. We have a few options to where my parents can get new jobs. I'm grading high school this year and as soon as i'm done we have to move.
I have a few choices to where to go Newyork-Brooklyn or Harlem
L.A-San Fernando or Compton or some place ( dunno) in California.
Need some opinions on where to go.

Lol and no here in Canada we don't ride polar bears around.
