CYS gang from the 90s

Unread post by FINITO » February 20th, 2013, 1:49 pm

What do u know about this old hood and who do you know from there?

CYS was long before my time so i only heard stories about them but I started working at this new company and met this ex CYS head working there who goes by the name Psycho..

Hey Shing, if you are still out there.. I was reading some old threads and saw u talking about this cat Psycho from CYS so it caught my attention.. I know Psycho from work...

This dude acts like he's an OG of all OGs so i was just wonderin..

What do u guys know about this set?

Just my two cents. I personally don't know much history on CYS. Growing up I heard the name mentioned a couple times. It's a gang that was known for having Chicano and Korean members. From reading recent posts about CYS on this site it seems they are now an all Chicano gang. And the heads nowa days don't care or know about the Korean connection they had in the past. The posts I've come across CYS claims Mayberry St. and beefs with ExP and other surrounding gangs.

from what i heard it started as a pinoy gang.

they had a click in ktown that had a lot of korean members. which is kinda norm for pinoy gangs in that area, jefrox and flip town mob for example.

the only cys left are the eses. comes from cys in echo park having latino heads. when the pinoy gang scene in that area died out (rbs, tst, sts, etc.) the eses kept it going.

the ese cys never liked the korean cys from what i heard. they thought the koreans were busters. they were from the pinoy cys.

Thanks for making that clear Judas. When I responded to this post the thought crossed my mind that CYS did have Pinoy heads as well. I think I remember hearing that before a long long time ago when I first heard them mentioned. A hood with an interesting history knowing how diverse they once were. Do you know much about FTM or how active they were back then? That's another gang I heard mentioned way back when but never knew much about.

just repeating what i heard. don't know much about cys.

but the originals were from that northwest l.a. area which was ground zero for a lot of pinoy gangs. temple pinoys, satanas, rebel boys, etc. were from that area.

i remember flip town mob had this big rep in ktown for a second then disappeared.

i remember ppl saying they were deepest and craziest in ktown..... then poof they disappeared. i remember hearing some of their korean heads claiming the FLIP stood for flipping out (going crazy) NOT for filipino. obviously a lie.

they had cute ass girls, i give them that.

them flip-korean gangs had some goodlooking homegirls.

valley jefrox back in the day had cute ass girls too.

valley jfx and rpb had the cute girls.

tgp had some alright ones too.

valley sts never had much girls. they would just rape tweaked out chicks.
