I was just wondering what CRIP stood for? Ive heard different things, however; i dont want to post them because the sources are always "My brothers friends uncles kids friend." or something.

Also, if anyone knows the real meaning of BLOOD.

in my opinion that ''comunity revolution in progress'' was found after, but the name did not come from those initials ,the original members never gave a f--ck about progress or the comunity the only thing they did was flexin muscles kickin ass jackin leather coats , puttin work ,jumpin niggas 10 on 1 after school ,and recruitin who ever wanted to be down ,walking in new hoods recruiting local kids TO create clicks all over south L.A ...to know the origin of the name just check alonso site ,i agree with his story ...

According to "Godfather" Jimel Barnes, the name CRIP started from the word 'crib'...like a baby's crib..."from the cradle to the grave C-RIP, may you rest in peace." I got this information from the book "Uprising", & they did interviews with a lot of o.g.'s from L.A., Compton, & Watts. I was going to write out exactly what he said, but since I don't have permission from the copywright holders, I thought it best not to plagiarize.
