I'm hearing two different things lately... On one hand I'm hearing that in CA 18th Street is doing their own thing and isn't claiming Sureno anymore. The tags I'm seeing are all XV3 but still throw up Sur 13. Depending on who is talking, 18th Street is either still good with Eme or totally doing their own thing. Which is it? Thanks..

I have been woundering the same thing lately i even seen that an 18 streeter wrote sur13k before so im not sure either. but then i had a close friend from 18 before an he would claim to be a sureno so i dont know.

there sure enuff big to do so if maravilla did it what makes u think 18 wont man the eme would go bankrupt with out them , maravilla have there own modules now 18 whats next norteno hood sprout up in l.a. ?

nah rookie, no matter how broke off the maravillas and 18th street are from the eme, they all got a common bond and that is against the norte...so i dont think nortenos will ever start a varrio in los and survive. at least not in my lifetime.

Gts, the reason the SUR does go into the north is because they ARE NOT as crazy or down as vatos in SUR SIDE CALIFAS. Real talk. You are right, if they ever thought about trying to open shop in SOUTHERN CALIFAS, that would be their funeral. But because vatos from the SOUTHERN SIDE have established varrios, no matter how big or small, THE FACT IS, SOUTHERNS ARE THERE> And about pollution, come on homie, thats reaching right there. You people in the central valley have it way worse than L.A..I know this for a fact because 1.) My hyna is from Stockton and I go there every 6 months and 2.) Yea I Have been there. I had a nice view of Crescent City while I was on "vacation" in P-Bay..LOL>..After I got out, I stayed with some familia in Petaluma and then Santa Rosa. I go to Stockton every six months and this past Christmas I spent it in San Francisco. I like the "Bay" Area. Only thing, too many nortenos!!..LOL...I dont bang no more but I do occasionally get that same ol' questiion, "where you from dogg??"..LOL>..Anyways, when I move back to Califas, I plan on moving to San Luis Obispo or Morro Bay. Nice weather, nice beaches and nice scenery. Alrato homie..

say gts, my hat goes off to you for your convo on this topic. you are one of the very FEW nortenos who be coming up in here with intelligent conversation. it aint about net banging. this site is suppose to be about dialog. i been posting here for a year now and you would'nt believe the amount of lil foolios who have nothing but bad to say concening the sur and norte. probably most of them aint ever been in this lifestyle tuff like some of us. they probably jump from site to site picking up lil bits of info here and there and then they come up in here tryin to spit game like they know what they talking about then when they get called on something they talk a lil masa and disappear. i guess they afraid to be exposed for what they are. dont get me wrong, there been some real mf'ers that have came here and came on a REAL level. i aint with that madness anymore. been there and stayed there for over 30 years, im talking about this lifestyle. i could care less NOW where someone's from, they come at me with respect they will get nothing but respect. they come at me foul then i'll return the favor. my heart is into wanting to see the lil homies rise up outta this madness and save themself and their families and loved one's alot of pain and heartache. hopefully at least even one lil homie will check themselves if they hear what some of us have been thru and had to deal with. anyways brother. i'll be looking forward to hearing what you have to say on some of these issues...peace.

Who can say they really know someone just from reading what they post; but the potential for more stupid ass norte/sur net bangin was real big but GTS and Stateraised2000 took it to a higher level.

a friend of mine just got out of the county and told me 18 was deep in there that they were doing there own thing basically banging on the rest of the sur inmates , might be a possible green light on them by the mexican mafia.

we got sur and norte here in oregon (gresham) from what i have heard 18 street doing they own thing. i know surenos y surenas and all i hear now is f### 18 street and "stuff" like that.

In 2005 Mexican Mafia green lighted all 18th Street gangs in Southern California for deciding not to submit under the Sur umbrella anymore. Today all 18th Street gangs are in protective custody, but only a few are in general population and claiming Sur. BTW, 18th Street gang members got sick and tired, fed up and frustrated of being green lighted for no reason just like Maravilla.

How's that possible when 18st has members in LA eMe? Every eighteen streeter I know ride Sur when locked up

I never heard of anything you are talking about. 18th Street Green lit? By who, when and why?

if you really did see a tag like that it was because the person who tag it was an idiot. Plus it could be a race thing. I know that a lot of the OG's and youngsters are from el salvador; however, that also depends on which 18st. hood.
