I think a lot of people would give SouthLos an above average.

Question is, what are defines your rankings? Is it how currently a varrio bangs or takes care of business? How much media exposure they get? How deep they are? How respectable they are? I see a lot of rankings on here that are all different. I don't expect a lot of people to come on here and give it up to the enemy. If you do, more props to you for keepin' it real. But I just think there is a difference between what an older cat might consider as rank versus the new kids out there defining what is rank.

These are my humble opinion on the East Side/NELA/SGV, Im gonna speak from my 1988-98 so dont jump my shit if Im a lil outdated my list is based on quality and somewhat on quantity and fools I have met and "ran" into:
1. Aves ...their rep proceeds themselves, but I grew up there and know alot more of their antics. They dont play.
2. Hazard...they got their hood sowed up
3. KAM...These fools came outta no where with no vet leadership and just took over.
4. TLS...Always solid but from the early 90's on they took their shit to another level at the expense of all the MV gangs.
5. ELake Boys...small and short lived but these fools were wild as hell in their hay day
6. Puente13....they are deep and got theirs on lock
7. ES18...the smallest and least known, but they keep their area sowed up.
8. Lomas...back in the day you couldnt roll through their hood without getting rushed.
9. White Fence...They got the history and their area, Ive smashed on a few of these fools personally but Ill still give them their due.
10. Cuatro Flats... As out allies and later as our enemies they are a handful.

YOu may notice I left out some old school Varrios such as VNE, Clover, Sereno but I have my own personal reasons.

Yea there was a lil Cambodian population in East Los back in the day. In the Aliso Village projects. A few from my hood and their relatives from the local varrios. My girls bro is Cambodian from East LA Dukes.

My lady and homeboy remembers bein called china/chino over there. Lol. That word is a phenomenon or something cause even on the WS they was sayin that shit. They even had a whole song to go with it! Lol. "Chino chino japanes.." howd it go? Funny when your older. But when we were young we took it serious
