that's not West LA. Maybe in the black gang scene Inglewood is West LA. But over here West LA is Sawtelle, Mar Vista, Venice, Santa Monica, Rancho Park, Palms, Hamilton High area, Culver City and Del Rey.

Besides, if we're including Inglewood area as West LA, then the baddest West Los varrio would be Lennox 13 not ING13.

I think the WF in Hollywood claims Westside. The palms/westside area is still fairly nice....i know over there off Venice Blvd. near La Cienega I see CFL & WSLS tagging up and crossing each other out. I think Silencioso mentioned some different gangs that are located around the Hamilton High area too. As far as Santa Monica goes, it is still pretty nice...the hood part of it is over there off Pico, just north of the college.

the gangs in west los angeles are not very active they might have alot of members but west los angeles like the are of venice,mar vista, culver city,palms,santa monica its all kick back areas not alot of violence or none at all. there might be a gang murder sometimes once a year or in a couple. but to me the most active ws gang would be 18st especially with their beef with the bloods. other than that you will never see a sotel,venice,santa monica gang member the only time you will see culver city gang member is if you go in the projects and their projects are not like the ones most people see like in watts,compton,east la,south central. the culver city projects are gated theres only one entrance and exit for cars to go in and they have a armed guard at the gate. check this out the culver city projects have their own baseball field,soccer field a park, they have a preeschool a high school and they even have their own clinic in there so thats why you never see culver city gang members out side sporting their red lol. about the west side locos i have never seen any of them only on music videos lol and i use to work in the labor ready located in whats sopoused to be their hood.

^Agreed...the violence between the West LA gangs seems to have gone down alot since back in the 90's. I remember it was pretty crazy back then...I know there were some shootings that went down towards the end of last year, but overall it is alot more kick back. The gangs are still there but police are constantly patrolling those areas.

them dude's from CXC are firme ass fuck,i met a gang of those vato's at some hand ball tournament a few years ago,some homeboy from out my way BIG SIEGO from PACAS BROWN STONE13 hooked up with some og's and invited all kinds of homeboys from all over,trip out these homeboys from CXC rolled up deep ass fuck and flamed up from head to toe! everybody tripped out,i met this older cat named SPOOKY and he was a down to earth type vato,they got they're ball on and took first place,it was cool to see homeboys from NORTHHOLLYWOOD LOCOS,PACAS FLATS,PACAS BROWN STONE AND PACAS CRIMINALES all chilling playing some ball,a lot of people look down on CXC for sporting the red,but these dudes are true blue.

i dont listen to what the news say because they only show and say a few things that happen in the hood i base my opinions on facts of what i see where i live and where i go. when i was saying the west side is not very active i meant the parts like culver city, venice,santa monica, palms,mar vista, this year though theres been a few murders around those areas so by the end of the year i think it would be the most active its been since the 90s. i know that the west side like the rampart area is active. the east is very active and it has always been active

Black and Mexican gangs in L.A. have a different concept of West LA/West Side. For Mexican gangs, anything west of Boyle Hts is West Side, but West Los refers to the far West Side areas like Venice, Santa Monica, Palms etc. For example, Echo Park gang is West Side but Venice 13 is West Los.

For black gangs, West Side is anything west of the 110 Fwy. West LA usually means West Adams, Cadillac-Coring, Fairfax etc.
