ANYONE HEARD OF A VARRIO CALLED SOUTH SIDE POMONA 13 OR POMONA SUR 13? JUST WOUNDERING CAUSE I WAS GOING WEST ON THE 60 FREEWAY WHICH I THINK GOES THROUGH SOUTH POMONA AND I SEE vSSPX3 HIT UP ON THE WALL. I WAS THINKING MAYBE THAT MEANS SOUTH SIDE POMONA?

too many gangs in Pomona...i always thought it was just like Pomona13 with just 12st as the main click and shiet...and i live in Pomona...i was wonderin' what the boundaries are for these hoods

I do beleive that there is also Varrio ESP EAST SIDE POMONA.

yeah i went to school with 3 fools from Pomona and each one was from a different varrio.one from PSO, one from PSL and another fool from CVP. PSOst and PSL are too different hoods for sure. i know CVP doesnt like PSL. Olive st never uses POS or OSP..only PSOst.

what do y'all know about Happy Town? i recently moved to Pomona and i think i figured out what hood i'm in...i see vHxT13 tagged up on the same block (Valley Blvd) three different times...the city is quick to clean it but i still see it up in a new spot everyday...

anyway, are they deep? i've known of the 12st Sharkys, but what about Happytown?

Happy town is crazy, no joke, same goes for CherryVille and Pomona Sur, and you already know about P12st Sharkeys, but did you know that before any of those barrios came to be, the varrio was all one under the name of POMONA VALLEY?

yeah, i just saw another hit up of Happy Town on Valley again today. this is like the 4/5th different one i've seen in two weeks. are they deep?

i always thought 12st was the deepest...and what caused the split? i've wondered about that too. Pomona has a LOT of sur gangs with the name Pomona in it...which is unique. usually a city has one or two main gangs, except the city of LA itself (ie: Gardena has G13, Lil Mobsters, and some small sets)...but Pomona seems to have a lot of established big sets...i wonder why that is...

I'm not too familar with Pomona, but i got some primos there whom i haven't seen in about 4-5 years, and i got a homie whom i see every now and then that is from Pomona Sur. But the little that i know is that they beef heavy since olden times with Onterio & Cuca Barrios.
Pomona has growned big time and the North Side Pomona as well as the East Side Pomona are newcomers to the scene, but the oldest ones after Pomona Valley are Pomona 12 STreet SHARKEYS whom are also the biggest in numbers followed in close second by CherryVille then Happy Town as the older Barrios.
The rest of the Barrios seemed to be offshots from newer crowds that did not align themselves with those 3.

I have been trying to gather historical info on SGV & IE Barrios for some time now, but i'm still weak on it.

did that one stand for Kings taking Over? i remember when i went to school this fool from Olive St. hit up this other vato and he said " Pomona Kings Taking Over" and that fool from Olive st was like oh its cool but that KTO fool was like nah Olive aint cool with me, so they had to throw down. that other fool from CVP had Olive street's back.

some fool i knew from Pomona said HTP was getting pretty deep.

anyone know whats up with WS Pomona? i see it written sometimes by the 10 freeway when i pass Pomona. some say they are deep and some say they arent. and is ES Pomona for real? i think i seen someone claiming that online but never heard of it in the steets.

That sounds about right but honestly I dont remember to much about them except the fact that they were around.

does anybody know if theirs a gang called "POMONA SUR"?? i know about PSO and PSL but when i read the news paper they mention "POMONA SUR 13"..so is their really a PS13 or is the news paper just wrong?

Simon Ruthless, there is a PSX3 Pomona Sur 13, i known of them before PSL, and for a while i have beleived that they are the same, but Locos/Locotes is a later addition.

does anyone know where their hood is? ive been through south Pomona even went all the way down Olive st. and I didnt see no sign of any gangs.

I don't beleive that the P"Sur" stands for "south fontana", the "SUR 13" part of their name is more in relation with "known history".

I dont know anything about Pomona Sur 13 but im pretty sure the Pomona Sur part of Olive street's name is for south Pomona. Olive st is in the very south of Pomona. also theirs another gang in Pomona that writes SSPx3. maybe its PSL or PS13 or its own thing. i dont know.

yeah we do need someone from Pomona. i know for sure PSO and PSL are 2 different varrios and thats only because i went to school with a couple of them. but I dont know anything about SSP or PSX3.

Some of them are the same hood...all the olives are PSO (Pomona Sur Olive), the Pomona Sur is "WS POMONA SUR", and i dont know where PSL is at. they all seem to have a "lokotes" clique, so i dont know... depends on where you see it i guess. Sur Locotes was on the eastside, which is traditionally the "no man's land" section of Pomona (also where the Eastside Pomona gang was, as well as the ECC click listed on the Pomona Crips section. Happy Town also has a second hood on the eastside off Holt and Towne). Southside Pomona, if it existed, would have had to be in 12th Street or Olive territory, as those two are the only gangs in South Pomona (Southside Village Crips and Angelo Mafia Crips are basically inactive, as 12th Street and Olive took over those areas), and thus wouldn't have had much of a chance of surviving. Pomona Sur 13 is west of downtown Pomona, between 12th Street and Cherryville, far from where Sur Locotes was, and could count as westside Pomona (not the same gang as WSP, but same geographical area) because it's West of Garey and north of Mission. For the Westside Pomona post, they are in the area between the 10 and Holt west of Hamilton, so you likely were going through their hood.

Was there ever a Varrio Horseshoe in Pomona? I came across this book, some kind of biography about a gang member from Cucamonga where he mentions some run ins and interactions with Horseshoe /“La herradura” in Pomona and mentions their feuding with Pomona 12St. Book so far doesn’t give an exact year but he talks about being a full blown Pachuco in his early to mid teens and later on talks about that style dying out in his 20’s.
