Famous Gang Wars

Anyone know any famous gang wars between hispanic gangs? One that is going on right now is Michigan Chicano Force and East Los Angeles 13. There was a shooting between the two near the Jacke in THe Box around Cesar Chavez and Forest St.

In West Los:

Venice 13 vs. Culver City Boyz

Venice 13 vs. ShoreLine Crips

Sotel 13 vs. Santa Monica 17th St.

What makes a gang war famous? Longevity? Notoriety?

Both, especially wars like PBGC vs BY, GYC vs SM17 and a few other WLA wars.

You can say the same with WC vs ABZ as non-racial, and TRG vs Longos, if you mean racial wars as well.

damn thats a long hit list. i used to live in 18st SPL hood. one story i heard when i moved in. i was chatting with my neighbors and they told me. whatever you do, don't sell drugs because one time this guy was selling drugs in front of our building and got killed. 2 kids ran up on him with military rifles, shot him, and continued to shoot while they ran circles around his dead body.

On that Otay 13 vs. Varrio Chula Vista in SD...

I just saw a homeboy from Otay the other day, fresh out, and with "FUCK CHUPA" tattooed on his back. LOL that is a down ass MF! But I guess it is the equivalent of a BK/CK tattoo.

Chupa and Chupa Verga is a diss for VCV.

What about V204ST in Los? Isn't there a big gang war between them and some next door bloods?

lol at GYC vs. SM17. GYC is non existant almost from the begining and those SM varrios are almost more like professional victims rather than profeesiona gangsters. but when i was in santa monica, i knew that GYC and SM got along. How can they not? they live in the exact same hood. no joke most of them live next door to each other. it's almost like how Grape Street was.

I wouldn't call PVN vs. Canta Ranas a real famous gang war. Not only are these southeast varrios on the low key, but CR's other rivalries far outweigh the 1 with PVN in my opinon. CR went at it with Rivera trece or Los nietos rifa worse or even Las Tres Palmas which led that varrios eventual demise.

But man I tell you, I live in Norwalk and I see all kinds of different varrios hit up in PVN hood. Every1 from Vickys street, kansas street, brown rascals, florencia, VNWK, CR, and even crips.

unbelievable, bad blood for generations, going back to sleepy lagoon and the zoot suit riots - you dont know what started it off do you by any chance? how can this not carry historical weight same way as anything else that has affected peoples lives in the past? and you say 'active', has it constantly been an active rivalry or is this just the most recent flare up?

Those 2 are pretty much the 1st established Gangs in LA, that might be a reason. The two biggest dogs on the block are bound to bump heads. Gibby would know for sure though.

abz vs. trg wasn't that bad in lb.

sure they dropped each other but it was always off and on until recently.

trg always ask abz/efcc/sui for peace treaty.

they always play the race card. we khmer. we asian. that sort of thing.

but they be doing foul shit, getting non-asian trg to hit abz/efcc/sui so they can deny it and when abz/sui/efcc put it on them, they play the race card.

trg in long beach has this big bad reputation but it's overblown imo.
they got a lot of credit for stuff other asian gangs did imo.

abs/z and other asian gangs in l.a. had more weight than trg.

now don't get me wrong they had some riders especially early on but as far as abz vs. trg in l.a. it's no contest. abs/z has took on pretty much every asian gang all over l.a. county. from olb, laob in l.a., to every pinoy/korean gang in sfv to the wah ching and black dragon in sgv.
