I've heard that CVLocos in Compton are connected to WSLocos, but that's about it. "locos" is a generic gang word in the cholo gang scene and many unrelated gangs have "locos" in their name.

That's by the old bread company on Venice. We would have to confirm this with Westside Palms but that seems like it would be close to the BFGC turf.

That's because they are warring with the CFL 13's, because 8703 Venice blvd is CFL 13's hood

I think out of the 4 corners (Venice, CXC, Sotel, SM) Culver City is the deepest of the 4 with Venice being next.

@Silencioso-I figured WS Locos over there in West LA wouldnt be that big. Theyre right there next to CFL & it seems pretty small over there.

Culver City?? Not sure how deep they are. I would hear that they were a in the hundreds but nowadays I dont know. I imagine they still # in the hundreds, just not sure how deep. A cousin of mine who didnt bang but lived on Kinston where CXC had/has a click used to tell me that he knew a few of them and that they had #'s.

Even though you dont see alot of guys posted up on the far westside, CXC & Venice still got #'s it seems. A lot has changed over on that side, but they still around and goin at with each other & the other hoods over there. As far as Sotel & SM go, I'm not sure how deep they are.

That section of West LA (basically, Hamilton HS area) has alot of little upstart gangs like CFL, DUI, PAL, Cerros 13 etc. Plus two well established gangs - WSLS and PBGC. Also 18th usually has some presence in that area at any given time.

I was in West Side Locos varrio today and took a bunch of photos. Usually the people in this neighborhood paint over graffiti quickly, but I found quite a few. If you wanted to know where they are located, I am uploading a map of where I found their graffiti.

I also noticed alot of 18th Street graffiti in their turf and it does not look crossed out by them, Are WSL and 18th cool? And why did I see alot of 18th graffiti there?

Im pretty sure WS Locos & 18 dont get along. I used to live down Cattaragaus across from Hamilton. I remember seeing 18 tags up but they would get crossed out.

There definitely seemed to be a lot of smaller upstart hoods around there. I would see a lot of CFL & DIM hit up. Never knew where PAL was really. Does WSLS claim Halm (Not Helms) Ave as their street?

I was on 8700 block of Regent Avenue where I took this pic, West Side Lokos. If you look closely it says "West Side Lokos" and then in white, someone in white spray paint write "KPA" i think, then someone wrote "West Side Lokos" a second time.

They have a click called Halm, NOT Helm, and DIM is on the north side of the 10 freeway on Cadilac & COrning area where the Play Boy Gangster Crips area.

Sotel is still around but I dont know how deep they are nowadays. They still be hitting up all over West LA. I've seen different hoods come hit up around their turf (CXC, SM, WS Locos, DFS) & it gets crossed out real quick by Sotel. I seen a couple of them walking down Barrington Ave one night a couple weeks ago. But that area is so diverse now. I dont ever really see them around Stoner Park but they still make their presence known there on the walls.

Halm avenue is a small street that begins at Cadillac Avenue and stops at Cattaraugus, running alongside Reynier Park. Back in the mid 80's, I used to know a black Jehovah's Witness named Mr. Forks who used to own a small house on Halm Avenue right before Cattaraugus, my mother's friend who was a nurse used to live in a small house on Halm Avenue as well, 2309 I believe was the address, and the backyard of that house and all the houses on the west side of the street faced the rear end of Shenandoah Street Elementary School's yard. I don't remember the Westside Locos ever claiming Halm Avenue, or ever did, Halm Avenue was always a very nice, pretty street, the homes were and still are owned by white folks, I know the Westside Locos, DIM's, PAL, nor the CFL's live on that street, them homeowners on that street will be callin' the police with no hesitation if they saw any gang activity, and it's always been that way, no gang has ever claimed Halm Avenue, the majority of the time the PBG's have their family picnics at Reynier Park, the police usually made their presence known, even if they didn't mess with them niggas, the westside locos used to kinda hang out and live in them houses on the other side of Cattaraugus, located behind the 10 freeway, and it seemed to me that they were sharing that area with the Helms 13's, that's the hispanic area.

WLA-your right about that...WS Locos were on the south side of the 10 fwy by cattaragaus. I used to live down the street from that park on Robertson across from Hamilton High basically. But Halm Ave picked up again on that south side of the 10 fwy around where WS Locos were. Now that area seems to be split with CFL & WSLS

Ok, my mistake, I didn't remember that Halm avenue stretched across Cattaraugus, that's the Halm Avenue that runs thru that lil hispanic varrio I mentioned going toward National blvd.

Yeah, you're right about that, as a matter of fact, a buddy I went to school with took me to a house party over there back in '94, he had some mexican friends, I believe a girl he knew that lived over there.
