Re: what are the oldest gangs from L.A. county to the OC to the I.E
Most of the oldest hoods in orange county that date back to the 1920's and 1930s,1940s etc are mostly sureno, the oldest in the city of Santa Ana are, Barrio Logan, Delhi, delhi started around 1920-1927, around that time frame, Santa Nita etc, the oldest in the city of Anaheim are, La Colonia, La Fabrica, Travelers City, Penguin City etc, and the oldest in the city of Placentia are, La Jolla, Plas and Atwood, and the oldest in the city of Buena Park is Westside Buena Park Los Coyotes. Now as for Los Angeles county, I'd have to say, San Fer 13, holds that title as the oldest gang there, their history goes back decades.. back when mexicans started branching out from Mexico to California, they then started forming farm communities all throught the San Fernando Valley, and they eventually transformed into a gang, which is still active til this day, pacoima has a few old sets too, I can't really speak on the I.E, since the only city i frequently visit out there is Riverside.. as for those orange county sets, it's amazing how generation after generation of family blood line keep these neighborhoods alive today, I did time back in 2002-2004 in orange county and most of the people i ran into were from la jolla, plas, atwood, travelers city, underhill, barrio pobre, citron, eastside buena park etc and now 14-16 years later, I still see the same shit lol, young kids continuing to keep the gang cycle alive.

Oldest gang in LA is Dog Town 1890skennyloks wrote:as old as diamond st nd primera
O.C. is not as old as LA so I doubt any neighborhoods go back that old
During the early 1900s most of OC was orange trees and berry farm
Hence where Knott Berry Amusement Park gets its name. And Orange County gets its name.

Anaheim and Santa Ana are the most active cities in OC when it comes to gangbanging
Anaheim had more murders than Compton a few years back

Only black gangs I can think of are Del Monte Blocc Gangsta Crips, Royal Samoan Posse Crips, Shelly Block Piru, Bloodel St Piru, Water Gate Crips, Ruthless Black Playas
And most of them ain’t even active or around like that

Re: what are the oldest gangs from L.A. county to the OC to the I.E
In the IE the oldest that I know of are:
Cucamonga Kings
Cucamonga Dog Patch
Onterio Black Angels
Casa Blanca
Chino Sinners
WS Verdugo Mt.Vernon
Corona Varrio Locos-although I don’t think they claim I.E, just “Corona”
Possibly East Side Riva too, but likely under a different name.
I did find a written interview by a Chicano activist that grew up in Cucamonga back in the 40’s and 50’s where he mentions the Kings already being established,he also mentions the Dog Patch barrio but it’s unclear exactly when that started.but for the IE, old would be 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. I’ve read older articles that say Casa Blanca had some forms of gang activity for close to 100 years but it’s still not been well researched.
