Original Clantone 14 - Downtown LA
There was once a Clantone 14 neighborhood near downtown LA on 14th Street. They started in th early 1960s or maybe late 1950s. There were the main gang there for years but they left nothing there, gone.

I don't know much about these kats but I thought they are from West LA and They arn't like
VNE jumping in any fool that walks down there street. With these guys you have to be well
known by the hood for them to consider your initiation. Gangs that have that type of "don't
know don't go" rule normally become displaced or inactive due to there lack of new members.
Most of them are family or have grown up together as kids. i think they are still active but
I could be wrong.

They have Clantone in Hollywood, and there is a South Side Clantone in the 30s streets, but the downtown Clantone 14, the original one is gone. No logger exists.

They no longer exist as a point of reference, the 10 fwy steam rolled that street a long time ago.
But that's not to say Clanton does not exist. They are one of the biggest and oldest Westside varrios you can name. They established many different hoods across the Westside before other gangs started to pop up and compete.
Yes, the original hood does not exist, but the varrio is still going on strong...

Re: Clanton 14 - Original neighborhood
I think Clanton goes back to the early 1940s or maybe the late 1930s, before that I am unaware of it.
Re: Clanton 14 - Original neighborhood
There suppose to be the original bangers on the westside. A toss up between temple street and clanton 14.
C14 had a click in the sixtys on crenshaw and 66th St back in the. 1980s.

Re: Clanton 14 - Original neighborhood
In the 1980s, C14 was clicked up with the 60s and the F13s were with the 62 brims.
Wasn't uncommon during the war years for eses gangs in black neighborhoods to be tight with the dominate local black gang.
All this racial shit is post war years post peace treaty.
