Lil Bo Pete or Peep from Grape Street Crip?

During the 1980s there was the infamous members of the Grape Streets names Lil Bo Pete or Lil Bo Peep. Does anyone know the correct spelling?

This is the guy Terrell 'Loko' Wright author of Home of the bodybags went to prison for shooting in 1985. In his book Loko spells it as Lil Bo Peep.

I know but I need to fact check that by someone who may have more info. It might be correct, Peep, but when people are talking they say Pete sometimes and I am not sure which one is actually correct.
