I think being part of the first wave of anything makes you very OG, and of all the people alive today, he is by far the most OG Crip living on the planet.

Melvin Hardy started and was the Leader of WSC.

There are a few more that were alive at the Rio Show. They're a few more older w/s Smaks & Inglewood Crips still alive. Don't let dudes age fool you.

Inglewood Crips + w/s Smaks + Alcapones = OWSC

3 different crews made up WSC.

Al Capones and the kids in the 80s joined right after the formation.

The kids in the 100s & Inglewood are the ones who sat down with R.W and the ESC up at the Tio Show & Washington High Meetings.

St Andrews Park, the Alcapones and the rest of the kids out the 80th streets got converted.

He didnt started ESC, WSC, or CPT/C.....he was a regular member who joined a gang that was already established....

The Founders are "the most" OG....he is part of the first wave, but he didnt start or find, any Crip Branch (w/s, e/s, cpt) or Set (BC/NH/UG/H/83/60)............

in reality, gotta question, what this 20yr old man was doing running with Juvenile Deliquents in 1970-1972.....

Crips 1969

Bacot 1949

1969
-1949
--------
20yrs old (Bacot)

Raymond Washington(ESC), Melvin Hardy(WSC), Mac Thomas (CPT) ~ 1953

1969
1953
-------
16yrs old

You cant say Barefoot Pookie was Younger then Bacot to discredit or down play his influence, when the Founders were also younger then Bacot......Barefoot Pookie is an Original Smak that was there when they merged with the Crips, Original WSC and started Godfather Crips, Insane Crips, Pay Back Crips and was from an original Bloc Crip.....His Influence Trumps Bacot and Bob..........

1972 (The Murder)
1949
---------------
23yrs old Bacot

I bet you Bacot and Bob were from so other Gang that got absorb by the Crips.......

Raymond Washington, Melvin Hardy and Mac Thomas are "the Most" OG Crips of Los Angeles and barefoot Pookie picked up the Torch from them and explanded like no other...............
The most OG Westside Crips are the ones that were there in 1970, simple. Some names you mention were not there in 1970 and that is not to "discredit" them, but to get to the most accurate facts. If you hit the streets in 1971, and there were at least 10 other cats there in 1970, then those are more OG, period.

Baycot was actually 22 when he went to prison for Ballou murder because his birthday is near end of year and the arrest was at beginning of year.

Also, Baycot and Big Bob have no "Big Homies" - Tookie (if alive would definitely be most OG too), but he was the little homie at the time, but still a leader. But there were only about 8 - 10 guys at the park when Tookie said lets be Westside Crips. If you were not there, you were not the most OG.

You are discrediting Baycot and Big Bobs influence because they were sent to prison on some other shit during the rest of the 1970s. Ask ANYONE, who name rings louder back then and today I guarantee Bacot's name will get more accolades, and again I am not discrediting anyone, just keeping it real. They guys sent to prison are forgotten, Bub, Cuzz, Big Bob and Bacot were Crippin' in prison and xxx wants to discredit their role and positions. Bub was killed, Cuzz does not hang-out, but Big Bob and Bacot still hang out in the park and most of the Original Crips still alive from that period can't even visit their own hood's today.

Last point is, Tookie, Big Bob, Baycot, all knew each other before Crip started, they all lived off Denker between the 60s and the 80s and they all hung out at St Andrews Park. I see nothing unusual that 16 & 17 years olds hanging out with 19 & 20 year olds on the streets. That always happens.

Also I look forward to hearing Barefoot Pookie's story. He is definitely a big part of the history during the 1970s.
In the third paragraph, you said a lot of the og's can't go back to their old hoods. Is there a specific reason why?

The Rio Show Meetings are real...Tookie wasn't there for the formation. He was in jail during the first meetings. He was in jail as an Al Capone when Crips started. When he got out, the Crips was already formed. Donald Sweatback Archie brought Tookie to the 100s, to the Rio, to Melvin Hardys Block to meet the Crips......

I don't know what u mean by why Tookie ain't been called out, he has, by the Founders from the East & West.....maybe not on here or books and news articles.....

Jeffrey Bacot was shot by Rollin 60s member before, not sure if it was this incident, and yes that is Judson's little brother.

Yes, Sweetback, did bring Tookie around the other homies. If we know that Tookie was in Eastlake when the WSC was formed, should we not be able to figure out the month and year of the start of WSC?

When did Tookie get locked up. I do believe that Tookie most likely joined the group after the WSC was already established.

WSC history is kinda tricky but from what i know,Raymond was interested in hooking up with Tookie.

That's really when the ball got rolling.I done heard stories of how Raymond used to punk Melvin and them but it was Tookie who niggas followed & respected.

Tookie story is that him & Ray met at Washington high and than had another meeting at the Rio theater to make it official. Everybody gonna put they own twist on the story but just by being in the streets the most reputable names from East to West was Raymond & Tookie.Sure there was other members but the most power & influence came from those two.

Tookie even had a little influence in Compton but he was still Westside South Central to the end.

Crip history to the best of my knowledge

Cribs (1969 )
Inglewood Chapter ( 1970 )
1971 ( Westside )
1972 ( Compton Chapter )

Now somewhere between 1970 -72 is when the name Crip & Blue Bandanas came about.

It was said it came from Buddha out the W-S 100s
