Nor does he have the type of expectations that Rollins has.

Hopefully Tampa Bay can bring home a W in game 3!

THe Dodgers had a great 2nd half of the season.. but ultimately i think Joe Torre left a lot to be questioned..I feel good hearing it on all of the sportstations because he managed exactly like i thought he would...

Just like you said. When he got a superstar power hitter people started giving him credit for doing a good job. But when he couldnt just depend on Manny and it came back down to him finding ways to generate runs and how to manage the bullpen he was back to sitting on his hands.

He exceeded my expectations Roc... but he folded whenever times got crucial.

It was a easy division to win... but at the sametime he had to deal with a lot of injuries.

I thought Juan Pierre should have had more playing time...

I thought he should have manufactured more runs...

Big Mistake relying on Jeff Kent for power situations...

Playing Furcal was questionable seeing how they got to the playoffs without him.

Bringing in wade (A rookie) back to back was a huge mistake.

Saving Broxton was a horrible mistake...

I personally am not a fan of Greg Maddux anymore but you have to give him a shot in a big series like that when you don't have a bonified staff...

Bottomline... and I've said this for years - he plays for the big homerun and doesn't know how to use his bullpen. Had he played small ball- NL type ball the Dodgers would still be playing right now. Too many men left on base,

They need to re-sign Manny and go after a big name hitter and a big name pitcher- and dump 5 of the overpaid high salaries that didn't contribute this season.

Neither L.A. team made it...

BOTH teams are looking to bolster their rosters for next season, it will be interesting to see what moves they make.
