2011 Dodgers in complete disarray
Because of the divorce between the McCourts, the Dodgers are un-manageable. They will probably have a terrible season this year.

I don't know about that. I mean Kershaw is a stud but if Kemp and Broxton come back to form and plays like they're capable of playing, Kemp will ignite the offense the rest will take care of itself. I could definitely see the Dodgers right there with the surprising Padres, Giants and Rockies.

I think they still have a shot. Like J said, if Kemp, Broxton and Loney play well and if we can get some cosistency from the bullpen, we can make a run. I'm more concerned about the managers position.

Don Mattingly is a rookie manger so I hear that. I just seen the Dodgers take 3 out of 4 from my Giants (poor defense granted) but I'm not writing they off, especially if Kemp comes back to 09 form and becomes the team's catalyst with Davy Lopes helping him on his base running skills. the division will be interesting with those Padres pitching, speed and defense... and Colorado with Tulowitzki and Gonzalez anchoring the offense and their ace Jimenez.

@j- I'm not knocking mattingly or nothing, I just wonder if he is the skipper that Torre was. We've played well thus far, and I have to say that I was shocked that we got three on ya'll. But its still early, and I think that we will have a good competitive division this season.~J~ wrote:Don Mattingly is a rookie manger so I hear that. Are you talking about Phi picking up Andre Either? I suppose it depends on what the Commissioner decides to do with the Dodgers, if he ultimately gets full control of the team.
Ibanez is struggling badly, I see he's signed for about $11 million this year. if Rowand wasn't actually needed at the moment with SF, I wouldn't mine some type of deal/trade with Ibanez and Rowand going back to the Phillies where he had some success. ultimately I don't think Phillies would be too interested.
