I HONESTLY THINK THAT IF TRINIDAD CAN WEATHER THE STORM EARLY THAT MAYORGA IS GONNA BRING, THEN I JUST CAN NOT ENVISION MAYORGA A FORMER WELTERWEIGHT MOVING ALL THE WAY UP TO MIDDLEWEIGHT, (HE WILL NOT COME IN AT 160) BEATING A MIDDLEWEIGHT. BUT HEY WHO WOULD THOUGHT ROY COULD NOT GET KNOCKED OUT BY A GUY WHO CAN NOT BREAK A CHIP WITH A PUNCH!

This will be a good fight....

Trinidad has only had problems with boxers..Oscar/Hopkins...not punchers.

Mayorga is a puncher that just got beat by a boxer..Spinks (?loss)..

Trinidad, is the better boxer and if he has the legs should get rid of Mayorga early (by 5 or 6 rounds)...

Hopefully the winner will fight Hopkins!

I'm going to go for Mayorga between the 6th and 8th, otherwise Trinidad takes it in the 12th or by decision.

Now this was a fight. In The first Mayorga tried his thing he did at 147 aint gonna work anymore, putting his chin out and dancing, he took some big shots from that and, but later threw out the fight he kept taking shots and shots i have no idea how he managed to go threw each one of them, if you put any other person in his positionthere head would of flew off. Then In the eight Mayorga took a punch Oscar took agaisnt bernarnd in the liver and went down, it was a harder punch to and went down for the first time, then at 9 got up something De La Hoya couldnt do, then a few seconds later he got knocked down again by a head shotso he got up and the next few seconds got knocked out and the ref stopped the fight and that was it.

Nah, the odds were 2 1/2 to 1, so u wouldnt have made a big profit on it, unless u bet 500 or more.

Mayorga would of been better if he fought smart, in the first round he put his chin out and took two big shots that hurt him, he might have a good chin but that is stupid, Trinidad fought smart and destroyed him.

What do you think about Trinidad's strategy of hitting below the belt a few times in his fights in order to take the conditioning out of his opponents legs ?
