The Philippino gang uses the "?" as their logo which I always thought to be interesting.

On the subject of gang emblems/logos, do L.A. black gangs ever have emblems/logos/symbols? Is there a symbol/emblem for Bounty Hunters, Brims, Pirus, etc. Is there a universal Crip symbol? L.A. black gangs have to be the least symbol oriented gangs out there.

many LA gangs have logos, the Black Stones use the St. Louis Cardinals logo, Neighborhood Crips you the North Carolina tar heels, etc. Not all logos are sport related.

Yeah, I knew about the use of team logos. I meant traditional emblems like Latin Kings with the crown, Vice Lords with the top hat and cane, Savage Skulls with the skull and stormtrooper helmet etc.

That's the international biohazard symbol. That's not "unique", it's just stolen. At least with the HA they created their own logo and even went so far as to trademark it.

So literal penguin. Goddamn. Unique is not the same as original

Also that Javelins symbol is Ming the Merciless from flash gordon so that's stolen too.

To take things even more literal, "unique" is almost exactly the same as original at least in the definition sense. Besides, what's a Bear doing type on the interwebs?? Large paws can not use a keyboard!

I guess if you line up all the gang logos and view them just as themselves I would bite and say that a biohazard symbol would be unique among all the sports logos that gangs use to represent themselves. My answer is still Hells Angels as far as gangs go (no one mentioned strictly street gangs so this is me being literal again). If it is just street gangs I'd be at a loss, most seem to be a sports team logo, an abbriveation of their name or some other picture stolen from some where.

Man the Latinos I used to hang out with had so many tats they were covered. Faces and hands too. All kinds of tats with so many meanings and swirls of teardrops some of them not just one or two. It was crazy. You could tell who was coming from a long ways away just from their tats.

Hells Angels are very protective over how their logo and likeness is used. I think like most gangs, non members can't just walk around sporting their logo's, but the HA take it a bit further with legally going over companies that use their name, or logo. Seems a bit strange but they make a lot of money off of those logos on t-shirts and merchandise, why not protect it legally?

The Hoovers borrowed the Houston Astros logo and made it more famous than a Houston Astro.
