I just bought the game.
But I was wondering, how do folks from LA feel about the game? Do y'all think it's cool that Rockstar made a game like this where folks can do drive-by's, killin & all that gang stuff? I'm askin this, because I can imagine a lil bit that someone who's brother, moms or whoever been killed don't like this game?

I am half way threw the game in San Feirro , In Los Santos you have to beat a few number of missions to be able to take over gang territories, and like in all the GTA's there is more backstabbers , which you will see in the last Los Santos mission.

Yeah i could imagine some folks who lost love ones in the war (gang war) get upset, i even heard that tupacs family did not authorize rockstar to use pacs version of california love in the game because they think it (san andreas) promotes gang activities.....about the game itself ive played it for about 4 hours and im lovin it, better than gta3 and vc in my opinion...

my next door homie has the game and from what i seen its a tight ass game. it looks way better than vice city. plus you can do alot more. the music on the game is tight as hell. i have seen the guide for san andreas its a 200 something page book. i wont get the game until december because i'm planing on getting metroid prime 2 for gamecube.

I have got all 3 cities now, done somewhere around 65 missions , and I would say 2/3 done with the story mode. It has definatly improved with a lot of thinigs like better graphics, challaging missions, more vehicles, more planes and helicopters, and two player. There is just so much to do in this game , you will never find yourself bored with nothing to do . The map is also very huge, and like always there are backstabbers and returning characters from prevoius GTA's . I have never been so stuck to a game more then this one 10/10 from me. I would also like to say that there is not one, not two, but three Italian Mobs in this game in Las Venturas, and the main character from GTA 3 returns as Catalinas boyfriend . he still doesnt say anything tho and still has no name but you can his face clearer, and i think Catalina said he was Russian not sure .

I guess it would depend on how you play, but I way say yes either way. 3 cities, plus 2 "country" areas, vs. 2 cities in Vice City. If you just do story missions, I think some people are getting it done in 20 hours. If you play everything to get 100% completion (pimping, tagging, burgliries, firetruck, all the different schools, etc.) then people are saying 100+ hours!

ur gangs color IS green but when u go to shops u can buy anything of any color (although i havent tried anything but green, i dont know if they notice), i havent yet seen rags for pockets or wrists but i know u can wear front rags, durags, rags to hide yourself,etc.

I just got to the end of "Reuniting the Families" mission. After that I went to Cesar cuz he hit me up and found out a bizzare twist. It's unbelievable. Never wouldve expected it. Peepz told me there was gonna be a betrayal in the end but like this?

this game is ,way f-cking cool. just beat the game today.but i had help/cheat codes and walkthroughs.it took the fun out of the game.but now i'm playing it w/out the codes.MUCH HARDER LOL.HAS ANYONE ELSE FINISH THE GAME
