Agreed. Section 2A of the Top Gangster Films statue has been resolved on the notice of 'Scarface'. All say aye.

UN Resolution 1506 has been vetoed by opposite members McMinister, Perongregory and A Ghost of the rouge party URFTLOBP(United Races For The Liberation Of Black People). I propose sanctions be taken against this party and the members be put under indictment. All say aye.

You got that right!
The first Carlito's Way not that Rise to Power garage. not only is it better then Scarface.. it's better then any movie mentioned on here imo with Casino running a close second. this movie is pretty authentic with only a few odd/strange things.

The acting in it was amazing, Sean Penn played a perfect supporting role, Al Pacino pulled his shit like he always does too. Rise to Power sucked, and completely fucked with the story...if he had already made it to the Caribbean and got out of that life like he did in the end of RTP, why would he come back? They could've made a prequel and done it as well as the original, but they completely missed the boat.

Training Day is more about the police aspect of things, crooked tho. Even though Alonzo got mixed up with the Russians, had that shoot out with the PJ's and went through the Jungles?...not forgetting them Mexicans. Blow, he was more on his own independent shit rather than gang type stuff, he was fucking around with Escobar though...

I know I'm in the minority here and Scarface is the fan favorite but I can't help but to think how many youngsters got influenced by watching every rapper on MTV Cribs show that played out movie. Scarface is good and no offence but way overrated.

I bet you they were just trying to cash in with Rise to Power off it's predecessor name. P Diddy and Carlito.. please! this movie or lack there of sucked on so many levels.
Anyway.. yeah, the acting was very good but if you had to nit pick on the authenticity of the movie one can say Carlito and Lanin didn't like Latino but then again some Latinos look Caucasian. Tony T looked more like a con then a Mafia Boss and a few other quirky things like Benny overzealousness for Carlito but other then that it was perfect, the narrating and musical score was all on point.

Hahah yeah, P Diddy was just over the line. Was Lalin supposed to be Latino though? Tony reminded me a bit of Tony Soprano, in more than just the name lol. I think Benny was justified however, he was upset about being disrespected by Carlito, someone he obviously idolized...

Everyone has their own opinions. Scarface is just my favorite & has been for a long time.

I thought 187 was kind of wack, but ok to watch. That had a lot to do with what is called tagbangers.

Godfather 3 was awful almost as bad as carlitos way rise to power. Untouchables and Mobsters are just as bad. All the good ones have already been mentioned. Blood in blood out/Bound by honor is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

Angels with Dirty Faces is A real good movie and definitely A classic.

Godfather 3 had both it's good and crappy moments...

Untouchables was a bit cheesy, I fucking hate elliot and his crew, I feel better when they focus on DeNiro without Al it's just awkward...

Mobsters I haven't seen. Carlito's Way Rise To Power I saw it in Blockbuster not a single good actor so I figured this is a cheap crappy sequel so fuck it I'd rather spend my 7 bucks on sex...

Jay Hernandez is an alright actor, nothing on Pacino's legacy though. I found P Diddy had the best(read funniest) role in the film..
