I got there around the time when they was planting the tree(s), and maybe the cowd had already dispearsed but I was thinking the community would of been out in force for this. But it was nice to see those who did attend. And was Jim brown down there?

I would assume since they are in Baldwin Village, that there would be heavy "damu" influence. But on a side note, T.Rogers is trying to reconnect with his "Moorish" roots (ABPSN for those that knwo) and a heavy dose of RED, BLACK and green are the nation's colors. Notice that the men are wearing the "fez" that the Moorish AMericans or "Moes" sport.

Re: T Rodgers 1st Annual Forgiveness Walk in the Jungles
He's talking about the Chicago stuff. They go their name from BPSN (N - nation) from Chicago. They later changed their named to El Rukns and tried to claim to be a "Moorish religion" instead of a gang so that way they could get private/untapped meeting time in prisons, but their appeal for recognition as a religion was denied.
The term Moor is too long and complicated, it should be spelled out in the Ethnicity section but basically its meaning has changed several times over different contexts, from Moroccans, to all Africans, to South West and South Asians, to Filipino "moros."
