Im not defending Nazis but those youth groups were Hitlers attempt at raising more soldiers for his cause, I dont think they really knew that at that young....
No and you had barely a choice. It was either you join or your family gets greenlighted and that was no nice option during the NAzi Era, believe me.

But yes, it was kind of a preparation for being a soldier and many totalitarian government had such youth organization. Soviet Union (Komsomols),

East Germany (FGY/Free German Youth or FDJ/Freie Deutsche Jugend)

etc. They were all kind of paramilitaric youth organizations. I had a friend from East Germany and his parents didnt want him to join them and were there for interrogated and thrown into jail by the east german intelligence service.

Don't most countries today still have some form of kiddie armies? Cadets, and what not? I mean not to the extent of a Nazi Youth, but it's still the same process of getting you ready to join the military the second you're old enough.

first of all the photo of the guy with hitler is NOT pope pius XII;
second-you condemn a a man for what he did as a 12 year old kid-right? cuz he was a nazi-but if we condemn a gangbanger for somethin HE did when he was 12 when he gets to be 60, 70-that would be a whole DIFFERENT STORY WOULDNT IT NOW? and now somebody tell me the difference or even which is worse-a 12 yr old kid is more or less forced to join the hitler youth, but only takes part in youth activities, never kills or injures anyone/a gangbanger as a 12 yr old kid is more or less forced to jon a a gang, and kills several people after doing so/which is worse? this oughta be REAL interestin!!!! DIFFERENT STORY, HUH? well you know-if someone from YOUR group does it its either OK or excused for a 1001 reasons-if someone form someone else's group does it-oh-they deserve to die!!!!!
and although the catholic church did cooperate in many ways with the nazis in WWII. the catholic church also saved thousands of jews from death at the hands of the nazis-so it is not a simple issue of all bad/all good as some of you seem to want to make out of EVERY issue-as in:

MY SIDE=ALL GOOD

YOUR SIDE=ALL BAD

i am just dyin to hear who is considered worse-the pope or the gangbanger????? haha this should be really good haha

Your welcome. But check the fact, that there also a lot of well meaning catholic priests, like the Liberation Theologists for example (of course the pope condemned them  ).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberation_theology

But i think that the pope is very smart. He has huge plans on reuniting the Orthodox and the Catholic church again, after 1000 years of division.
Lets see what happens.

the "reuniting" of the Roman Catholics and the Orthodox will simply not happen ion any of our lifetimes-while the Pope may want htis, too many Roman Catholics have no interest in it one way or another, and among the Orthodox, the great majority are not interested in uniting with Roma under any circumstances.
the genocide of Orthodox Christians by Roman Catholics is another on e of those overlooked pages of history-and the Catholic "apologies" for it are suspectr-the same year that the Pope "apologized" for this genocide, the Roman Catholic Church made Joasaphat Kuntsevich a Saint-he was perhaps the WORST offender againt the Orthodox-a man whose hatred of the Orthodox ran so deep that he had Orthodox GRAVES dug up and then let the bodies be eaten by wild animals! he was responsible for the deaths of many Orthodox-then Rome says, "Oh, we are sorry for all that, but Joasaph is now a saint!" Obviously, not a deed guaranteed to inspire confidence among the Orthodox!

A note about the catholics "collaborating" with the nazis, ands the shock inspired by the photos posted on here-in any european country that was occupied by the germans during world war II, photos can be produced of not only catholics, but all protestant groups and their clergy, and moslem clerics, shown hobnobbing with the hobnailed boot boys-it seems that the nazis had some penchant for these types of occasions and photos-i gess the "photo op" is older than we think!
In Croatia, photos of catholic, protestant, orthodox and moslem clerics gatehred with the nazi bosses and the coratian fascist ustashi are easy to come across-and again, on and on it goes, across europe-i guess nobody wanted to be left out of being in the good graces of the bosses-after all, the punishment for falling out of grace was not a pleasant one!

How can you prove that's the pope???

Also, he was facist. Mussolini may have been with Hitler but the Nazi party, aka Nazis were in Germany only. Refer to him as a facist.

Also, the man didn't kill anyone and he served as a pope --- which pope???

John Paul or the new one???

Also, he will get into heaven anyways if he doesn't commit suicide --- HE'S THE POPE!!!!!

Let him relinquish his past sins just like Tookie and that Ricky Ross guy did. They still gonna go to hell. Tookie is already there and Ricky, well, he's on his way. :D

Uh-where do you think the government gets all the money to pay for "everything"???

Tito was like most of the guys who were at the head of a persponality cult-he died, then the entire country basically decided that they had had enough of hios corrupt and malfunctioning government system-call it socialism if you like-and that system fell in the dust, like every other "socialist" system in Eastern Europe-where all the governments were flat broke-why do you think Cuba is broke and China went to capitalism? Socialism simply does not work. For a GREAT number of reasons. Other countries referred to as "socialist" are some of the social democratic countries of Northern Europe, where taxes are so astronomically high that if they tries to enforce them here, THEN you would havce a revolution!

Which POPE? A FASCIST, NOT A NAZI?

Unread post by Brown Street » December 11th, 2006, 10:54 pm

This is Pope Benedict XV, the CURRENT Pope.
He is German, therefore was a Nazi, not a "Fascist with Mussolini." [/code]

Are you saying my country is broke??? That's partially true. My people are crazy and that's why my country is going down the drain. I blame America for flusing it though.

Why?

Many reasons I have no time to explain. The socialist system was for the people. Unlike what you see and hear on BBC and CNN, we're perfectly fine.

Capitalist system is killing us. Socialist system made us happy. Who cares if we're broke???

No one does. The USA says that we're broke...

Well, unlike the USA, we don't have 12 trillion dollars. If we did, I'd have about 50 billion. Or something...

My point is that even though we have a low economy, we have a low population. 2 million is it...

When some fools at school or from school or wherever try and mess with me or talk shit about my father, I don't protest. I don't feel bad.

I know that on a one on one fight, my father can beat any average man, and these 13 yr olds talking about how they blast that fool and rob this fool and rape that fool or whatever. Right...

He was in the Army and a trained black belt 2nd degree. He hits well you know...

You know the story. Still hail socialism cause it is better for the people. Everyone is happy. We don't need a liscence to print money from the USA...

We can print how much and distributitie to the people. No the govermement print and pay for everything...

Also, I didn't say everything.

First off, what I ment by 'pay' is that apartment buildings were govermement owned when socialism was there. Free to live in an apartmenet. Nationalized shit. Better for everyone. Whatever...

Don't wanna argue about this crap 40 mins till this stupid torrent finishes so I can play Company Of Heroes...

abc12345, i wish i knew what country you speak of-you say socialism was "for the people," and the "people were happy." I dont think that would be the case with most of the socialist countries-you HAD to work at jobs they picked for you for shitty pay; consumer goods were shitty; food was shitty; and you had to stand in line for hours to get it! all men were conscripted into the army; in the case of ussr, you had to fight and get killed in ag=fghansitan and chechnya to "liberate the workers," (afghanistan had very very few industrial workers . . .) doesnt sound like a recipe for happy people to me!
