Where is David Duke today?

After listening to Tim Wise on this string he mentioned David Duke from the 1990s and was wondering where he is at today. WHo knows?

According to Wikipedia, he's in jail:

Guilty plea and incarceration

David Duke pleaded guilty to filing a false tax return under 26 U.S.C. § 7206 and mail fraud under 18 U.S.C. § 1341 in December 2002.[84]

Four months later, Duke was sentenced to 15 months in prison, and he served the time in Big Spring, Texas. He was also fined US$10,000, ordered to cooperate with the Internal Revenue Service, and to pay money still owed for his 1998 taxes. Following his release in May 2004, he stated that his decision to take the plea bargain was motivated by the bias that he perceived in the United States federal court system and not his guilt. He said he felt the charges were contrived to derail his political career and discredit him to his followers, and that he took the safe route by pleading guilty and receiving a mitigated sentence, rather than pleading not guilty and potentially receiving the full sentence.

Duke pled guilty to a six-year scheme to dupe thousands of his followers by asking for donations. Through postal mail, Duke later appealed to his supporters that he was about to lose his house and his life savings. Prosecutors claimed that Duke raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in this campaign. Prosecutors also claimed he sold his home at a hefty profit, had multiple investment accounts, and spent much of his money gambling at casinos.[85][86][87][88]

Don Black claims that Duke was targeted in this way by the government as was Al Capone to discredit him.[90]

Or maybe not..

He was a Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan and they let him be a candidate for the Republican and Democratic parties presidential primaries? I'm suprised they even let him be a politician. Did he get alot of heat being a part of that group while being in office? I bet he did. I mean, damn...

No one "let" him be a politician, anyone can be one. It's just a matter of whether or not people actually vote him into power. Being a politician is like being a Model. Anyone can say they're one, it's just a question of whether or not they get work for it.

From the looks of it, David Duke is still out doing his thing. I'm pretty certain he's not in jail. He's still going to conferences and selling his books.

if they only knew how much their own so called white race did not care about them im pretty sure they would get depressed or end their movement all together i would be ashamed to share the same blood line as this guy.

i didnt know that David Duke went to jail. Guess he was trying to get over on his taxes. He should have went to trial like Wesley Snipes did if he was innocent.

David Duke's propaganda has many false assertions in it imo. I studied his online stuff and his "facts", use of logic, etc... was way off the mark and unscholarly in my opinion. I'll read anyone's stuff and try to get to the bottom of it but if I can't qualify it as accurate (in my understanding), it goes in the trashcan.
