Rush Limbaugh called the NFL a bunch of Crip and Bloods with out the weapons. Many have characterized this statement along with many of his other comments as racially charged. NFL Commissioner Roger Giddell has stated that his divisive comments are not welcoming to the NFL. Even though most NFL owners are conservative republicans, they were not open to welcoming Limbaugh to their ranks. After Limbaugh was dropped from the investment team, he went on his show and called the NFL racist.
