What kind of GOD was it that they beleived in ?. There is very basic and distinct differences in their faiths, that is why eacxh is the cornerstone of different types of worship.

Like the Romans, Greeks, and Norse had gods of war, harvest, rain, love, and so on, all in different gods, but the ones listed above have prevailed over those types of god worship, why ? what gods do they worship ? what differerentiates one from the other ?

actually, I think it's

god

god

god

Buddha believed in multiple gods, as do buddhists, I don't know that he worshipped just one in particular.

Confucious also was more a political advisor, I don't think he endorsed one religion or another

Zaroaster worshipped ahura mazda, which was just one god. Not sure of what anyone's interpretation of this is. Is it the same god as islam/judaism/christianity? Not sure. I guess it depends on how you look at it.

Mani? not sure

God

And when I say god only, I mean the generally accepted christian/jewish/muslim incarnation of god.
