I was in the marines for 4 years, where I took a computer intelligence course and did quite well. after serving I worked a few odd jobs for about 6 months, then a buddy of mine from the marines told me about his new job with NSA. I applied thinking they would stick me in an airport somewhere all day, but they were impressed with my scores on the CI exam and told me about a postion as an internet informant. I started in the Al Jazeera network hoping to find leads on terrorists, but the FBI took that over in April of 2002. So now we scan other Al Jazeera type sites, white power sites, black power sites and various streetgang sites.

Ive been doing this ever since, and I make a decent buck for it.

Actualy brother, this job is not through the marines. I served 4 years and after getting out, a buddy of mine (from the marines) told me about "his great new job". He is in airport security and loves it. While in the marines, I took a computer intelligence course and scored very well on the final exam. When NSA saw that in my resume, they told me about this.

The Marines did my life a WORLD of good, but you dont realy have to have military background to do this. It just helps.
