Yes there is street gangs in Fairbanks. I haven't seen a polar bear in the interior though and a moose will take out anything and everyone. LA and Seattle connected gangs are around and make the paper often for a lot of crimes. There are also a few Chicago mob members here as well but they are more silent. There isn't too many Hispanics but enough where you do have a small representation of those Hispanic gangs. A lot of somoan and Laos members too. Then of course, you have your homegrown sets. Anchorage has more sets, but they often work in tandem with Fairbanks if its one of the few doing big things, unlike the lower 48, its all about money and not so much turf. There is beef, but alot will work together to get money even though they are different gangs/mobs/cards. And you will always make money in Alaska. Most often, you will not see gang members posted on a corner.
