there are over 50 gangs in anaheim. off the top of my head it's

Kroeger st
Pacific St
F.O.L.K.S.
Anaheim Vatos Locos
Highland st
jeffrey st
Penguin City
Anaheim Travelers
Citron St
Ruthless Black Players (not sure if still around)
Del Monte Blocc Crips (new set, ain't done nothin yet, but do hold a little area)
Westside Anaheim
Eastside Anaheim
Kodiak St
and many more

Almost the entire street of beach and harbor are basically pimp and hoes, not gangsters, and almost the whole street of Lincoln is held by various sets depending on the week. It is just a long string of dope hotels, sometimes tun by locals, sometimes folks from LA, sometimes independant, but most of the activity is drug related, not gang related on Lincoln. You can still get smoked though, easily.

I'll be staying at a Hilton near the convention center ( I don't know the name of it), I guess it's next to Disneyland. Any activity going down there?

if you're staying at the hilton, you will probably only see tourists and hookers.

I'm not from none of those neighborhoods. But I lived in Anaheim from age 10 to 18, and went to school in Garden grove, but right next to anaheim.

You won't really know you're in the "stuff" staying on katella. That is a very big main street and heavily policed becasue of Disneyland. But within a mile of the 5, if you see any apartments or side streets, there will be "stuff" going on there.

with no traffic, 20 to 30 minutes. If you try to go when there's traffic, it could take as long as 1 or 2 hours.

One other thing, I know the topic of "tourism" through hoods has come up before, some people are sensitive to it. Please understand I do not mean any disrespect to anyone. I am fully aware of the dangers involved, and I am not taking anything lightly.

It is quiet compared to parts of LA (especially in the daytime) but I have personally almost had my head blown off twice in Anaheim in the 80's late at night getting caught between opposing gangs while going about my business. I didn't have no money back then so lived in the "very low rent" district there after my honorable military discharge while working a graveyard shift in a factory for a couple of years back in the day before the light bulb clicked on I found the local college.

Yes, they are actually more Buena PArk than Anaheim, i mean for real they're right on the border and half their hood is in BP, the other half in AHM, they claim everything between Crescent, Western, Lincoln, and Beach Blvd. With the heart of their hood being on Jackson and Fillmore, which is in Buena Park.

I don't think so, I think it's just a coincidence. Back in the day those fools used to be pseudo-crips for a bit. They're hood, is pretty much ghost town now, or at least it was back in the late 90s, early 2000s, lots of paisas and younger hispanic pretty boys who pluck their eyebrows and shit. I used to be able to walk every street in their hood and slang sacks of shit to some folks when I posed up at PC Zone on Western and Lincoln just right up the street.
