I'll list some of the black gangs in OC, cuz that's what I know. Too many mexican hoods to mention. I saw in the paper that according the the the anyway there were 400 gangs in OC, over 200 just in Santa Ana. Way too many for me to deal with right now.

I know the gd's are mainly in Tustin and Irvine, some in Anaheim. 3 or 4 are actually from chicago, but all the rest gotjumped in by these. Not really active as far as black gangs go, I think they beef with some eses, but they don't really get involved with anther black hoods.

some people be claimin some LA sets, but they don't really count because they come and go every year. used to be some neighborhoods, some school yards, some grape st, but usually once they runs into one of the OC sets, they either shut down and die out, or they get absorbed into an OC based hood. as far as I know, none of them ever had any LA backing, just usually one guy that moves out here and trys to start something up.

Yes no kidding! In Westminister alone there are 63 known active gangs (says a T.A.R.G.E.T. press release). Santa Ana is off the map they have so many hardcore gangmembers, and even Fullerton (FxTroop for example) and Anaheim has it's fair share of them. But even small peaceful communities like Placentia has neighborhood gangs like Plas and yes there are even some Crips now in Yorba Linda but they keep a low profile there. Orange County "white" gangs keep increasing as well.

I ran into F-Troop in Fullerton in the 80's. But I defer to you StateRaised2000 since you know more about the scene than I do. There are just so many streetgangs in SoCal.

Now they are only really in santa ana, and there are a few different sets, and they don't even really get along with each other (South Side Ftroop, el salvador park ftroop, etc). In Fullerton, it's mostly Tokers, but there's also baker st, and Fullerton suicidals (esses, not white). There's also Varrio Lajolla in Placentia, they got funk with plas. anyone claiming crip in Yorba linda is either from somewhere else and just moved there, or they're hittin the pipe. Artesia Ftroop is named for artesia street in santa ana. watersnakes is what some call the watergate crips, but I don't really think they want any problems with watergate. I don't think they could handle that kind of funk.
I don't really know about who most of the esse neighborhoods get along with or got beef with. the only reason I know any at all was through business, or from being locked up. Except for back in the late 80's and early 90's, usually the esse's do their thinkg and the blacks do theirs.

Thanks for the good info StreetRaised and Panik. I ran across a guy that used to be in KAM on Sunday. He said he was from the pico rivera (more toward East LA) territory. He was telling me a typical gang meeting is conducted like a church service only God isn't present. I was like what are you talking about? He was like well they close off the street, posting in front of the two entrances with some soldiers strapped) to keep the civilians and other gangsters out and attendance is mandatory (they canvassed the area telling everyone in the clique they HAVE to show). He said then a leader gets up and gives a talk. When it's time for business, they call out those who have been naughty from a list, and issue punishment on the spot. Usually a pretty severe beating for example if things were dry and they purchased their narcotics to resell from another gang/source. Then it's time to party. That's how it goes in KAM I was told.

Thanks. If you don't know who the PeeJays are, they sprayed a 1/2 block of Riverside Drive between Turner and Haven by Grace Yokley middle school. They're very low profile compared to the other larger gangs there.

there are some 18's in OC, but nothing worth talkin about. Most of them just used to be taggers and switched to a gang. They aren't allowed to claim any real territory by any of the OC hoods, so if you hit em up they'll all tell you they're from LA. None of them are from LA, but they still got LA tats, and all the ones I've seen claim Westside 18th st. Even in county, they roll with the LA southsiders, even though they were born and raised in OC. Confused if you ask me.

I remember hearing about N14 back in 89-90. There were a couple in Orange byel modena high school. I know that wasn't their hood, but I remember they had beef a couple times with the esse's over there. Not really sure where their hood was, these were just a couple that had moved over there. Haven't hear of them in over 10 years though.
