Brother of Zemun clan leader shot dead in Belgrade

The murdered man was found today morning in downtown Belgrade Nikola Bojovik, brother of Luke Bojovik, one of the leaders of the Zemun clan.

"The man had a gunshot wound to the head, chest, abdomen and forearm. We found unconscious and barely breathing, "said Dr.. Makura and add that killed Bojovik was transferred to the resuscitation department.

The scene of the murder were all competent police teams are trying to highlight the case.

According to unofficial information, the stranger approached the Bojovik and in front of several bystanders opened fire on him from behind. Bojovik fell, and the attacker itrelal several shots at him.

Nicholas Bojovik and wife of Luke Bojovik Barbara were arrested on October 11, 2011 with another 22 members of a criminal group from Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, suspected of laundering money and drug trafficking. Three weeks later still were released from prison.

Luke Bojovik in jail in Madrid the past 15 months. He is expected to be extradited to Serbia, where he is suspected of several murders.

Luke Bojovik was designated as the leader of the Zemun Clan criminal group headed stopped in 2003 after the assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic and police action "Sabre" which killed previous heads of this group, Dusan Spasojevic and Mile Lukovic. ... klan-foto/ ... at-zemunac

The Zemun clan is one of Serbia's biggest and most notorious crime groups based out of Belgrade, certainly the most well known - even the little kids around certain places in the Balkans know about the Zemun clan.
