Do you believe That the Taliban a religious or criminal organization. From the Western media they are often described as a terrorist group, I am sure a Taliban may differ.

They're a religious extremist group because they act for religious reasons.
Criminal organizations exist to make money and alot of the shiit the taliban do is counterproductive to gettin paid.

Unless they got some new nextlevel gettin paper plan thats going over my head.

I think that they are both. They are a group that follow certain religious priniciples but have a criminal element that funds their religious endeavors. They want their country to follow a very strict form of Islam, and they use the sell of poppy to fund their movement.

yeah they are both because the things they do fall under both religious and criminal.
but the criminal things they do are done to fund the religious extremism not to collect and gather cash to spend.
look at the mafia for example
they do bad shit to bank off it right.
so they're a criminal organization.
But the taliban does bad shit (sell drugs) to fund there religious actions.
mafia end goal=build up bankroll=criminal organization
taliban end goal=religious jihad=religious criminal organization

fuuck the taliban tho.
