I meant to post this before, but I just found it again. For those that don't know about the slums of Rio, the shit is real.

Was that the nastiest shit you've ever seen??? Plastic bags to shit in!!!! I couldn't even imagine being on the film crew going through that place, let alone doing time there.

That right there makes Pelican Bay look like paradise. Not necessarily in terms of danger, of course, but the conditions. It's like night and day.

its crazy there man

its same in south africa, they have police shooting for them, supplying them guns and everything. if they get caught with a gun or drugs they just pay the police off and they leave them alone.

the same dude(ross Kemp) who made that gangs of rio documentary also did a south africa one, i'll try and find it and post the link on here.

Damn that joint was looong.....Gangsta, but looooooong.

I like when ol'boy said:

"I sleep with' my gun...It's my protection; first God, then my gun!!!!"

It's funny 'cause I sleep with' an AK under my bed. My wife thinks that shit is silly ass hell; but, when some bitch niccas' kick in our door, we'll see how silly the' shit is, then!!!!

I ain't never been no place else like it. Both good and bad. It's a great place to hang out, the FINEST women in the world everywhere you turn. But it has that other side to it.

The discrepancies between the haves and the have nots in just magnified. Me and my boy went into one of those enclose ATM machine, you know where you swipe you card and step inside. When we went in, it was just the normal amount of people walking up and down the street. By the time we got our money and came out, it look like about 30 kids had came outta nowhere!!! They ask for money, some trying to see packs of gum, T-shirts, or whatever.

When you see homeless kids in the street like that, it hits you in a different way than just seeing an adult on the street here. And to think that more of THOSE kids are killed justl because the police want to make sure the tourist feel "comfortable" while they're shopping.

The shit is deep!!!
