Midway today announced the development of a new action/adventure game Fear & Respect.


Developed in collaboration with acclaimed Boyz N the Hood director John Singleton, Fear & Respect is an action/adventure with a focus on accurately recreating the life of a South Central gang member. Though little of the game is currently known, it has been confirmed that it follow its unnamed primary character as he's forced back into the life after just getting back from prison. Expected gameplay elements include hand-to-hand combat, weapon shooting mechanics, and a 'Fear & Respect' system that dictates how other characters view your alter ego on the streets.

Fear & Respect is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2005 on the PlayStation2 and the Xbox.

Man this game gon be better than the gta series hope they make it so u can talk to people when u feel like and that they talk to u about somthin besides ur clothes and junk plus i hope they let u drink and smoke that be cool in the game

I went to a homie house he showed me the book of game informer it showed snoop dog face on the front cover i saw the screenshots of fear & respect you do get to smoke,roll ya own blunt but i don't know about drinking.
