Gang member charged in shooting death of Cleveland teen Brandon Young

An admitted member of The Lakeshore Boys gang was charged with aggravated murder and felonious assault in connection with the shootings of two Collinwood teens.

Demarco Millsap, 18, was held in Cuyahoga County Jail on $1.5 million bond in connection with the Nov. 7 shooting of Brandon Young, 17, and his half-brother, Shaquille Perry, 16. The two were shot on East 186th Street and St. Clair Avenue.

Young died Thursday morning.

Millsap noted his gang membership in his profile on an Internet social networking site, police Lt. Thomas Stacho said.

There were four people in the car involved in the shooting. Police said they are still seeking the other people involved. Friends and family members of the victims said the Lakeshore Boys is a gang that operates out of Collinwood and Euclid.

Young was a student of the school of Architecture and Design at John Hay High School and was planning on going to college to become a pharmacist.

just throwing this out there lakeshore boys is crips.... just wanted to say. maybe young was a blood gang member i cant really tell cuz it doesnt say what gang. ussaully news ppl just say the name of the gang they dont add crip or blood or gd to it cuz they dont want ppl worrying like. with waste 5 is bloods and they just call em waste 5.

wait nvm actually on this side of lakeshore it may be blood cuz 156th area enar lakeshore i think is bloods. lakeshore blvd in east cleveland is crips.
