Red- it's a color that means nothing special to many, but to 15 year old Jose Lozano, red may have been part of the reason he died. To his classmates, red is a sign, alerting others that they belong to a gang.
An EPISD police officer is stationed at every high school and middle school in the district.

Extra counselors have also been stationed at Canyon Hills this week for students who want to talk about Lozano's death, or the gang situation.
