I dont know how true this is because countries close to Sicily (Algeria and Tunisia) also have darker skin and dark hair and they are amazed when they see people with blond hair as it is uncommon because of the climate. Although when it is sunny in england my hair goes blonder? Like i said i dont know how true this is

Also during the period of Spanish rule, there was the Inquisition, where everything that wasn't Christian and breathed... was gone. So to this day you will see a high level prejudice in Spain and Italy against blacks and anybody who is a Muslim, no matter what colour skin they have. Sicilians and southern Italians are Caucasian Christian Europeans.

Sicilians do have African blood in them, everyone stop saying nigger... anyway, they also have egyptian and albanian blood in them too, alot of it. After African blood, comes in Albanian, than egyptian... most people who follow up on that stuff know this...
