Rap DVD gives police clues

An underground music video was the starting point in last week's police raid in Rexdale.

Police say they used a "Rapsheet DVD" to identify suspected gang members at various locations around the city.

The video was being sold in some record stores and on the internet.

Bail hearings in the case are ongoing. More than 100 people were arrested during the raids and 30 of them have already been released on bail.

Typical. Only morons would want to "show off" in a video.

Is it illegal to be in a gang in Canada? What were they arrested for?

Just goes to show how easy it is to convict poor, young visable minorities for gun and gang crimes in today's society. Imagine police using the scarface movie as "evidence" against Robert De Niro in a organized crime ring. Rediculous.

Police and politicians have found a way to exploit people's ignorance and underline racial biases to convict people on the most flimsy and speculative evidence.
