I hear you my man, and you make valid points. The thing with me is that I ain't gifted with the "smarts" I wished I would reign in my mind, and I trip on my own two feet all the time. However, I do try to teach a little about "using their intelligenge" & I try to put a persuassion for Homies to think and ponder on what they do and why they do it.
The rest is up to them to decide and act upon. I don't know if you understand how I work sometimes, because many times I been told by others on here, that I ask too many questions and my good will is questioned, yet I do it with a purpose and with certain point to make through the use of "volatile" or "non-popular" topics.

In this particular case "weed names" (personally I don't think anything bad about weed use by anyone for recreational or medicinal purposes "only". But I was working up to the "don't mix it" part, in order to teach those out there putting themselves in a "dangerous position" because of ignorance as to what drugs "should never be mixed in with each other" because they just don't get along and when mixed, they end up throwing your brain and/or body a possible "trip of no return".

I can't stop people from using some real bad sh*t out there, but to those Homies on here who have some love left for themselves (if not anybody else), then it would be helpful If "we" put the word out, "in a friendly camraderie sort of way" and not as a "preacher or pop's" talk down convo.

Follow me reasoning on this one Holmes? I ain't "evil" or "non-caring" my man, quite the opposite, I try to stay with my BROTHERS in the street and share with them, learn from them, and teach them what ever positive thing I can however small it may be. "I PROMOTE BARRIO HOMEBOY/HOOD LIVIN' LIFE AS OPPOSED TO MAD MAX GANGSTER LIFE." We can party, kick it, experience, and basically "grow through the young years of learning and wisen up" WITH STYLE & IN STYLE without the need to "KILL EACH OTHER", either with the use of cuetes or lokera.
SOCIALIZING AND GROWING UP WAS THE NAME OF THE GAME - NOT MAD CHAOS & INSTITUTIONALIZED WASTE OF A BEATIFUL SOUL.

He he - I used to blaze up so much weed, i should be a bush by now! But in the end, I just got sick of it. Once upon a time I saw weed as a symbol of resistance and smoked marley cones for England (yeah man, I could biuld the best spliffs, the best cones..BURNIN!). But the truth is after years and I mean years, I just turned off one day. I want to be a role model for little youts in my endz and I actually felt embarrased if I was chilling on my park with a fat one and a little yout I knew came by and wanted to join my thing, I felt ashamed cos on the one hand, they know what I do in the community and on the other I was presenting as I had when I was doing the wrong stuff.

But hell, I have smoked White Widow, all very pale and covered in THC dust/chrystals - blew my f**kin' head off, felt like the dot on the TV screen when you switch off! My fave was if it were organic, sun grown and best of all, sativa varieties brought in from Jamaica (Sensi) - wasnt so fond of skunk varieties, too unnatural - I called it GM Weed - too full of chemical shit. Or I liked what was called 'charas' and 'Minali', hash from India - strong, mellow, doesnt trip you out like acid! Anyhow, I'm on a no smoking thing right now, i relapdse but stop again cos I want to be an good example to those young ones. Peace all.

if you have a friend who is a true weed smoker, at least 5 times a week, and you want them to quit and they look like there is no quit in them, how would you get them to stop if you loved that person?

Thats a good question...It took most heavy weed smokers that i know some bad experiences to quit it. A good friend of mine smoked everyday for years, but almost completely quit when he realized that it was only in his way and that he only did it cause it helped him not thinking about some issues he had.
As long as someone is not willing to see that its going to be difficult i think.
