http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 365&q=kobe

it would kickass if the media asked kobe "whats next for you" or "what else would you hope to accomplish" and kobe awnsered:

"I would love to have a dunk contest with vince carter if he is up to the challenge, and I would alsa love to break Wilt's other scorring record."

When asked about Kobe's performance AI had this to say "It was an amazing night for Kobe. Just unreal. Like watching a video game. He's the best player in the game.". Asked if he will try to top the performance #3 wasnt so humble "We play Toronto in March. I'm going to go for 100." -Philadelphia Daily News

Kobe aint at Jordans statues yet but I thin kat the end of his career he will be , so far all he has on MJ is a bigger career high.

The 81 point game was Kobe's 666th game in the NBA.

It's obvious Kobe made a pact with Satan, brothers and sisters.

I love how all you guys are hating on Kobe, but if it was Iverson or Lebron that would of scored 81 you wouldn't stop kissing their asses.

after watching both those video clips of Kobe vs Jordan, you can see they both have amazing talent... They are both the greatest players to play the game in their own ways..

I know for reals though. Give Kobe his props. They're way overdue. Even before his 81, they were due. He is most deserving for the MVP this year. And the only difference betweeen Jordan and Kobe is that Jordan was loved, while Kobe is hated. That's it.

Only thing seperating Jordan and Kobe is the rings and the supporting cast, I consider Jordan no better in skill than Kobe is right now.

Really? So then you consider John Salley a better player than Kobe Bryant? He has more rings, so by your theory Salley is a better player. Kobe has three rings and he's what, 28? He still has plenty of time and he's clearly a dominant player...give him another guy to be his number two man and you'll have a new Laker dynasty. What people don't realize is the rarity of a player like Pippen..he was a superstar comfortable with the secondary role..MJ's skill level was in no way above that of Kobe's he merely had a supporting cast that could play and didn't mind being a supporting cash. Take Shaq away from Kobe and he'd be ringless, take Pippen away from Jordan and he'd be ringless.

And thatz real spit every man needz a side kick kareem and magic, larry bird and K Mchale, Isiah and joe dumarz, jordan + pippen, patrick ewing + john starks, karl malone + john stockton, larry johnson + Zo mourning, Shaq + lil penny lol, shaq + kobe, shaq + D wade, larry hughes + King JAMES, steve nash + amare stoudemirre, and the list goes on yall should get the picture by now every great wuz made great by anotha great or a great suppporter even in the NFL Joe Montana + Jerry Rice, Elway + T. Davis, Bret Favre + Antonio Freeman, Kris Carter + Randy Moss, Gannon + Tim Brown, these greats all helped each other become even better than they might have ever been T.O. + McNaBB lol.
