Re: Your favorite Martial Arts....
I did martial arts for 8 years, my favorite systems are boxing, kung fu and any kind of grappling. I did all those arts, but the one i really excelled in was kung fu.

Jeet Kune Do, is boxing, wrestling, muay thai, bjj, judo, well pretty much every that has been listed already right?
Except, they add strikes to the eye's, groin, throat, knees, etc etc. I had a friend who trained under, Ted LucayLucay in Kali and JKD.

Re: Your favorite Martial Arts....
My favorite is got to be boxing, and kung fu. Those are my primary styles really. I tried muay thai and karate before, but those didn't seem to fit my type. However, I did some grappling which was very practical. but had to stop because i had a hip problem.
Re: Your favorite Martial Arts....
I think the sweat science is a great art to know, simple, jab, cross, hook, and upper cut, and doesn't take long to learn the basics. Kung Fu? There are so many styles, which one do you study?
Ive seen on you tube, some Praying Mantis (not sure if it was northern or southern style) practitioner's showing their art, I was impressed by their speed, power, and techniques.

Wado Ryu or Shotokan Karate alongside bodybuilding. These two are a hell of a lethal combination.
Karate basically means to kill with one punch. When you master the ability to fight in a standing up position, you won't require the ability to wrestle on the ground, even though against multiple opponents, this can be an effective strategy to use.
But if you're good enough, you can take down multiple opponents at once.
Mind you, I'm talking about regular every day punks and tougher goons and criminals on the street. If a bunch of good kickboxers, wrestlers, bodybuilders or karatekas decide to kill you, be sure, they will.

Re: Your favorite Martial Arts....
I studied Goju Ryu for a few years when I was a kid but I hardly remember any of it. My favorite martial art would be kung fu and I had a cousin who studied when he was younger. Another style that piques my interest is Muay Thai, which is no joke from what I hear.
