Hard to call.
Canelo got the skills.
Chavez got the size and dog in him.
12 rounds Canelo unanimous

Remember this fight is at a catch weight of 164 and half pounds. Jr, has been known to miss weight and that's why Golden Boy Promotions had him sign a contract, that for each pound he comes in over the contracted weight, he will be fined $1 million dollars. Also the weight drain will favor Canelo. A lot of things to factor in, Memo Heredia, Jr has him as his strength and conditioning coach and boxing coach Nacho Beristain .....I don't really think that will matter.

Canelo by unanimous decision.

yeah, it wpuld be an upset if JCC was to win...
Because if he wins, Canelo won't be coming out of this unscathed. Gonna be a battle for sure.
Thing is JCC has been near fighting weight for weeks now, so he definitely is prepared,
Lets see what he has to offer.
Might have to watch it next week. Too tired to stay up and watch that shit tonight

Horrible fight, not competitive at all. I'm watching post fight right now and Canelo said, GGG, you are next my friend. GGG, just walked into the ring. Fight is happening Sept ??? I didn't catch the day.

If this fight is at 160 or higher, I favor GGG. If GGG would have fought Chavez Jr. tonight he would have stopped him.

Seen some highlights...
Did JCC come to fight or get pot shotted ?
Reminded me of Pac vs Margarito.
Obviously JCC only got to where he did because of his pops.
It looked embarassing

There's only ONE meaningful punch that comes to mind that JCC Jr. through, and that was a left hook to the body. All the other punches, and there was not many, he threw were slow. So slow Canelo could have countered him more often.

I have never seen JCC Jr. fight so poorly.

Margarito, at least made an effort to hit Pac but was just too slow. There's absolutely no comparison between the two fights.

JCC Jr. is not going to retire. @1:35 of the video

Not even competitive.

Makes me wonder why Canelo didn't go for the KO.
