Manny Pacquiao v. Erik Morales coming up. Who's your fav?

Unread post by PlayaLarga » February 19th, 2005, 11:09 pm

Manny appears to have the speed, quickness, and power over Morales. However, Morales has the reach and experience advantage over the Pac-Man in this upcoming match. I also believe that Morales is closely watching the latter rounds of the Pac-Man Marquez match last year to find a weakness in Pac-Man.

Pac-Man has a motor that doesn't burn out while Morales can be a savy techniican and outbox an opponent using his smarts and experience.

Some regard Pac-Man as a tyson-like puncher - very aggressive and is just a straight up boxer with not only speed, but deadly ponch power.

While De La Hoya and Barrerra are predicing that Manny would win by knockout, I think Erik Morales can upset him by a knockout in the latter round since Pac-Man leaves himself open way too many times as represented in his two losses to two-no-name fighters and the draw against Marquez.

Discuss.

Just the fight i wanted to see for a very long time. Pacman is a wild puncher and ver aggressive. Morales has speed and very calm. Hmm.... Since the 2 fights between Morales and Barrera I would have to say that PACMAN may have the chance. Morales in the other hand the Underdog of this fight, He better be sure to win it for the MExicans, If not itll be an upset since PACMAN had beaten Barrera twice and a draw with Marquez.

MY FAV. MANNY PACMAN

It's gonna be a good fight.... but in the end, I think Pacquaio will be left standing.

Pac Man is like a pit bull, he just keeps coming at you. The only problem for him is that he basically has no right hand. Watch the Marquez fight. That is what allowed marquez to hang in there and get the draw. Regardless, I say pacquiao K.O in 6.

THIS FIGHT IS GOING TO BE ILL AND WILL MAKE HISTORY IF THE FILIPINO BOXER BEATS THE MEXICAN. IVE SEEN PACMANS FIGHTS AND SO FAR HE DOMINATED THE MEXICANS STARTING OF WITH BARRERA THAN MARQUEZ WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WIN AND THEN COMES MORALES.

THE OUTCOME OF MANNY AND MORALES GOIN AT IT, I SAY THAT ITS GOING TO BE A TUFF DECISION. WHy? BECAUSE MORALES IS VERY EXPERIENCE WITH HIS DIVISION AND HAS KEPT IT TO HIS ABILITY. PACMAN ON THE OTHER HAND CAN SURPRISE THE OPPONENT WITH QUICK HOOKS AND HAS GREAT SPEED. WITH MORALES BEING EXPERIENCE WITH HIS WEIGHT CLASS, PACMAN MUST DECIDE HOW HIS GOING TO BRING A HEAVIER MORE EXPERIENCE BOXER DOWN TO THE CANVAS.

I MYSELF WOULD LIKE TO SEE MANNY KO MORALES WHICH WILL SHOCK THE SPORTS FANS WORLDWIDE.

QUOTE MANNY HAS MOVED UP TO A 5 POUND DEVISION AND HE BEING THE UNDERDOG GOIN AGAINTS THE CHAMPION. I GO FOR THE UNDERDOG.

That head butt was following a solid punch, and it was in the 5th round, pacman was stunned from the first round on. RECOGNIZE and PAY UP!

EL TERRIBLE MORALES

~x BARRIO x~
"MIDNIGHTERS"
~X GRANDE x~
"ZONA NORTE"
TIJUANA MEJICO

p.s. The prior fight between EL TRAVIESO & HUSSEIN, in that fight El Travieso got cut early on and ran out of steam big time, with hussein making his fight to his style, and what happened? El Travieso with a huge cut (bigger than pacman's) kept on his attack and never went backwards, ended up sending Hussein to the canvas with his head between his legs - how's that for Mexican Ranchero Eggs.
They wanted to stop the fight for el travieso, but he cursed and said fock no - "no la paren" and fought like a mothofocker.
On the otherhand pacman in his bout, kept going back to his corner in a daze and did not look too enthusiastic to keep on, WHY? CAUSE HE KEPT GETTING HIT and COULD NOT PAR UP TO MORALES.

I SEEN that FIGHT with EL & HUSSEIN OMG WHAT A PUSSY HUSSEIN WAS HE DISSAPOINTED ME .

PACMAN AND MORALES I WOULD SAY IT WAS AN EVEN FIGHT FOR BOTH FIGHTERS. MORALES HAD THE ADVANTAGES FROM EXPERIENCED DIVISION. HEAD BUTT ON PACMANS EYE AND I HEARD THEM TALKING ABOUT SOME KIND OF GLOVE PACMAN COUDNT USE. PACMAN TRIED AND FOUGHT ALL THE WAY with GAINING 5 POUNDS JUST TO FIGHT MORALES. NO KNOCKDOWN WHICH MEANS THEIR SHOULD BE A REMATCH NO DOUBT ABOUT that. NEXT FIGHT BETWEEN THE 2, THEIR WILL BE A K.O!

GOOD FIGHT!

I say it was a great fight. I give credit to Morales who kept Manny at bay in his victory, yet I take nothing away from Manny as he showed that he had the heart of a filipino warrior. These are two great warriors who are driven by
national pride. I'm proud of both of the boxers with thier desire to fight it out to the end. I say lets do it again.
