can a one world religion work ?

Religion is probably the biggest divider in world history, but for those that believe in God it is central to our existence. Share your views.

I vote for No... There is just too much cultural differences between peoples and nations for everyone to agree on one set or order of how a new religon would work. Id say Athiesm could be it, once science has smashed everyones beleifs but even then thats a huge longshot. There are always going to be people who dont agree with the norm

the title of the thread is
"Can a one word religon work"?

no
a religion that all humanity can accept ?
no there isnt a religon that all of humanity can accept
Did you miss the part where he said everyone accepted it?
It sounds like he asked a question with the thread title and posted an incomplete sentence with a question mark at the end of the sentence in the thread...

What they need to do is abolish religion altogether, which unfortunately doubt is even possible...

But to answer your question simply,no.Not all religions believe in that one Jesu,Allah,or Elohim.

One religion is what eventually will happen after the great tribulation, according to Revelations.

Yeah, Cliffard, ur right. And on every 1st of each month we gonna celebrate a big religious day. The goal is to celebrate a month long. The bigger you celebrate, the more religious u r.

No, to b serious again: Religion is made up to control. It is the one big power confronting the state, which (in the Western world) should be the actual power of control. If I was in control of the state (just speaking for my country) I would ban religion from it, like the communists did. My theory about why Christianity and democracy works is this: The Western world was home to great philosophers like Homer, Nietzsche, Freud and the likes. Basically the Greek philosophers did their part in founding Democracy. This resulted in a growing power of the state and a decreasing power of Christianity. But it was an evolution. Still working till today. Muslims didn't have that. So, in my opinion Islam and democracy will rarely work.

Humans are too imperfect to agree, even withone one religious philosophy there is dissension. We must wait.

Before the internet which was not very long ago, peoples thots and info was segregated, born and roaming wherever in different parts of this big space of earth u have different minds, different beliefs, different languages/words, different areas, different weathers etc, that is y theres different religions. Before the telephones, TVs, and even cameras all u had was what was in front of where u roamed but now that the internet is the future and we can c or hear, mostly both, anything thats out there in our pocket. we can c and hear different things that were interested in and try to find solutions to the problems and that could create world peace one day. That would b as close as ONE religion can EVER get. Unless God himself comes down to this earth do a few real magic things as proof and had out the PERFECT bible to EVERYONE. Amen

No because people are all different.
And human nature does that people will always disagree, make teams, unite against each other.
