The illuminati is the only one on the list where there is no proof that there is such a thing. All others are verifiable groups. The illuminati is just something that was proposed in a conspiracy theory at one time. There has never been a shred of eveidence to even verify it ever existed. Also, kind of hard to believe.

Panik is right, there is no real proof of the Illuminati's existence, but suppesedly, the membership consists of the worlds richest and most influential people from all walks of life, who have been bending history to their will for hundredsd of years. This is where alot of conspiract theorist think the,"NEW WORLD ORDER" mentality comes from

Which S.S. do you beleive has been the most influential thru out the times ?

What famous people that made world history were in S.S. and how do you beleive it helped them with their achievements ?

Why would you join a S.S.

There have been many powerful secret societies throughout history. This thread seems only to be dealing with fairly modern ones. Many famous people have belonged to secret societies. I would never join one as the trade of personal liberty and freedom for power is not worth it to me.

From what I've read, both Bush Jr. and Sr. were members of the Scroll and Key Society. I'll look for the source of that info and post back if I can find it.

Secret societies, for the most part, are just fraternal organizations. Secret grips, passwords etc.. assist in the fraternal bond. The secrets don't really mean anything to the general public. However, it means a great deal to the member and the secrets also serve as a way to preserve the fraternity's integrity and measure one's membership and dedication to the fraternity. I am a Prince Hall Freemason, have been for ten years. So I know first hand that there is nothing we're keeping from the world that would validate all this bad speculation and bad press about Freemasons.

Freemasons, with a doubt. Most of the others mentioned are exclusive to this United States. Freemasons are exclusive to the world. The list of men who are Freemasons goes on forever, and if you want to find out how it helped in their individual achievments, join and find out..2B1ASK1.

Knights Templar, Priory of Zion and Rosecrucians are different "degrees" of Freemasonry:

1. Knights Templar, Priory of Zion you "earn" traveling on the "yorkrite side of the square and compass".

2. Rosecrucians you "earn" on the "scottishrite side of the square and compass".

Just thought I give you a little insight......

Yo Epun you just dropped a bomb on me homie. You mean to tell me that Priory of Zion, Rosicrucians, and Knights Templar are all part of the 33 degrees? I heard that you can go two different paths in Freemasonry (from a much older family member who is a Mason), is that what you mean by Yorkrite or scottishrite? Does this have to do with being either a Protestant (Yorkrite) or Catholic (Scottishrite)? I heard that it used to be impossible to gain acceptance in BOTH the Masons and other organizations like the Knights of Columbus, but that it's now allowed.

Besides that, don't you think the simple fact that they are so influential is based on the exlusionary aspect of their fraternity? This gives them the right to pick their brothers over all other candidates for political positions. In a sense doesn't the secrecy and exclusivity justify contempt?

Good questions......yes they are part of the 32 DEGREES, not the 33.....no, the scottish nor the york have anything to do with being Protestant or Catholic in freemasonry, we accept from many denominations......Since 1970 or so, slowly but surely, you saw many catholics become masons while sustaining thier memberships in KoC. Not much of an issue now......the influence that masons had politically, socially or economically has fallen by the wayside for many years now. Freemansonry is still influential, but not as years before. Many our Presidents became masons while in office, ex....Reagan, Clinton, Carter, and many were before they took the oath, ex. Bush, Wilson, Roosevelt, Ford and Washington........ Secrecy and exclusivity do not justify contempt, Ignorance and mis-information usually performs that trick.
Today, masonry's number one enemy is racism between the black and white orders. Here in California and other states, we acknowledge one another. Not like that in most of the country, particularly in the south and the east coast. Please do not ask me to go into it too deep as it would take a weeks conversation to explain.

Can't disclose most of that information due to the oath I took, however, you can go to almost any bookstore and find informative books on Freemasonry and books that have even disclosed our secrets. I must warn you though that what you read will mean nothing to you unless you are actually a masonic brother who has "traveled" and "earned wages".......any word from Alonso on that VIP access? Thanks

A secret Socieyt is a society in secret. not just a fraternization like u say epun. Some of these Secret societys are cults. Practicing in religous rituals
linguiring through darkness and sacred silence. Dont ever underestimate A secret society. I mean sure, they exists on collage campuses i mean President Bush And John Kerry Were Both part of the skull and Bones. A Secret Society at Yale. But they vary, some secret societys are into some deep dark stuff. And thats Off the real. some of that shyt is straight up freaky
