You were supposed to pick one out of the list, but you got it -
*** The correct answer is PORTUGAL ***
To my knowledge we have never had any kind of beef with them, wether direct or indirect at any time.

Romania was an ally of Nazy Germany during WWII, and the U.S. bombed their oil fileds during the war, not to mentiuon the indirect ground fight through the Ruskys and Partisans.

Slovakia was a puppet state of Nazy Germany and fought alonside the germans in WWII. Slovakia was formed out of the prior Czechoslovakia which was partially annexed by Hitler, and the Slovaks were gived partial autonomy, while the Czechs were not.

Lebanon, even thought we never fought the government per say, we did however participate in armed battles versus the various militias during the Lebanese civil war of the 80s, which culminated with our withdrawal of forces after the Marine barracks attacks which killed over 200 Marines. But plenty of other covert operations have been played out in Lebanon by U.S. forces. That is how the story lines for some of the movies of the time came out from, like the one titled SEALS. All this without even mentioning the vast amount of arms, logistics and intellegence support given to the Israelies in their invasions of Lebanon.

It was called the FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR, during the Colonial era, fought mainly by American Colonists and British, versus the Canadian Colonials and French.

^ ^ ^ ^ Also, the War of 1812, sould of really been fought against the French and not the British, because at the time, the French were really the ones doing more damage to the American Merchant Marines, more so then the Brits.

You are right about Lebanon, but Slovakia is very difficult because many Germans were living there and Hitler drove the Slovaks either away or oppressed them. It was called Sudet-Land and it used to be German Territory in the 19th century.
but the originals Slovak were strong enemies of Hitler because he targeted them because of their Slavish heritage

Native Americans have only warred with other Native Americans. Typical of ancient tribal rivalries.

For the most part the real America didn't have a hostile policy with other non American tribes until recently. American history is over 10,000 years old. Remember that.
