Lebanon, even thought we never fought the government per say, we did however participate in armed battles versus the various militias during the Lebanese civil war of the 80s, which culminated with our withdrawal of forces after the Marine barracks attacks which killed over 200 Marines. But plenty of other covert operations have been played out in Lebanon by U.S. forces. That is how the story lines for some of the movies of the time came out from, like the one titled SEALS. All this without even mentioning the vast amount of arms, logistics and intellegence support given to the Israelies in their invasions of Lebanon.

It was called the FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR, during the Colonial era, fought mainly by American Colonists and British, versus the Canadian Colonials and French.

You are right about Lebanon, but Slovakia is very difficult because many Germans were living there and Hitler drove the Slovaks either away or oppressed them. It was called Sudet-Land and it used to be German Territory in the 19th century.
but the originals Slovak were strong enemies of Hitler because he targeted them because of their Slavish heritage
