you mean the swap meet belts with the different letter buckles spelling out crew or gang? That's an old style. Cheap and they work good.

alot of people wear them but it doesnt always have to do with gangs. but gangsters do like to get the ones with a letter on it. over here some like to get the ones that have IE or 13 on the front. not many people let them hang anymore.

up here some people still let them hang cause if they aint wearing black its either a blue one or a red one & they want the color to be shown, u see alot of red belts hanging with the red rag on the back pocket or the side pocket hanging with red shoe laces and saggy pants so they can show the red boxer shorts with a red hat, lol you can confuse one of those dudes with a stop sign, but thats mostly the lil youngsters though, the older fools aint really that much into colors anymore & that belt hanging thing is more of a highschool thing the surenos dont do the belt hanging thing that much anymore they just wear dallas cowboys jerseys or anything that says LA with blue letters even if its a hockey jersey or or anything that has an S on it like a seattle mariners jersey & if you bang u better be ready & down as fk for your sht cause theres alot of mfkrs that just wear a simple white t shirt with some khaki colored dickies & got some blurry tattoos that u cant even read & with those mfkrs you never know what they claim.

What exit did you take, and where were you. If you were in the City the Mission district is where it goes down. From the freeway on it's Ene territory til 20th st. where MS is, then there's the 19th St. SUR.

I dont htink this style is all that popular in the 2000 teens. Maybe in the 1990s, early 2000s.

i remember wearing those letter belt buckles since 1987 because of the gang initials one could put together

but not letting the belt hang down like that.
