The death of culture and fashion...

...as a result of Hip Hop commercialisation.

When i was growing up my town and my neighbourhoods always had their own dress code and way of talking, their own fashion and culture.

This commercialisation of Hip Hop culture has meant no matter where you go in this country you will find people talking and acting like 50 Cent etc...

It saddens me to see this in some of my old haunts, this imitation of Hip Hop is destroying cultures and fashions. Why cant people accept their background and culture instead of trying to fake something???

We got people in the countryside, suburbs, small towns and the downtown areas of wealthy cities fakin, we got fakin allova.Nowadays so many English be imitating the American Hip Hop scene. Why though whats the point?

The worst are the suburban rich kids who have good lives going around thinking they are 50 Cent and wishing they had a thug life?? Why the fuck would you want a thug life when you already have a better life? Why are they ashamed or embarressed of what they have??

The commercialisation of it all is killing our cultures and fashion, Hip Hop culture and fashion is being cloned allova the place.

I hate fakers.

Im just glad my neighbourhoods have not followed in this trend like so much of England has.

And "Pimp My Ride UK" what the fuck??? anyone in the USA who has seen that, i am apologising to you on behalf of the UK cos that show is fucced up.

How the fuck can it be PMRUK when the host imitates USA so much?

Are you serious I didn't even know abbou that, that shit is ridcolous the thug life aint something to be proud life or be glorified, so many white kids trying to look like and be like thugs, man damn 50 cent this nigga wants little kids to be gangstas ,specially with his new game coming out.

Ha ha - yep, I think they might be breeding - lil 50 Cents everywhere - help, its Attack of the Clones!! Solution: ghetto people every where subvert things and change their styles - maybe pinstripe suits and bowler hats - and let every suburban wannabe from LA to NYC to Paris to London choke on thier bandanas.
