the savage nomads are nothing in this day and age.. black spades dont exist any more.. zulu isnt shit anymore either.. ching a lings are a MC and have been for over 15 years.. the kings up in the bronx are a whole different animal, they dont fuck with any other kings in nyc.. brooklyn kings and bronx kings dont get along

I got that info from my own research on NYC gangs. Ib is right about Black Spades, they flipped to Bloods recently and no longer exist as "Black Spades". The others are all current. Los Traviesos, St. Johns Boys and Cholos Del Bronx are newer Mexican gangs. The Mexican gangs in NYC are kind of on there own program like South East Asians in LA/OC. Nomads are an old school gang that's still up. I don't know how big they are anymore but they're big enough to have a whole police "operation" against them - Operation Homestead up in Yonkers( directly north of the Bronx) which was dedicated to bringing down hardcore Nomads and another ally gang.
Zulu Nation isn't dead. They lost some members to Bloods but they're rebounding according to UZN
members I've spoken to.
NYC has a much smaller gang scene than LA or Chicago, especially when you consider New York's size. It's rare to find a NY gangmember that knows every gang in NY or a Brooklyn gangmember that knows about the Bronx. If you ask a NY gangmember about NY gangs they'll usually just say LK's, Bloods, Crips, Neta and whatever smaller gangs are in their specific area.

Los Solidos are a big Puerto Rican gang based in Hartford, Ct. They came out of a merging of Savage Nomads and Ghetto Brothers in Hartford back in the early 90's.
They're major enemies of the Latin Kings and Neta. Their colors are red and blue, Their symbol is the tragedy and comedy masks similar to the "smile now, cry later" symbol used by cholos.

G27 is a prison gang based in Puerto Rico that has factions in New Jersey and maybe other places in the Northeast.

Well in the 6ronx you have mostly 6loods....most the the crips out here dont flag or anything like that 6ut you still have some real locs holdin it down that go all out and let it there set 6e known.

i got that straght from NTG and SMM on rikers island kid... aint nothing fake or sweet with me homie.. they stepped to me cause they heard me saying "cuz" on the phone.. so after awhile the one from NTG and me was talking and he said that about 90's,KGC and marcus garvey. he never mentioned vanderveer

i was in the bronx today and met with the savage skulls, they are back and active. flying those black and white colors in all there glory. was a site to see, brought back alot of memories. also fish from savage nomads was there and they are starting back up too.

they both gave me there gang cards hopefully i can get them scanned so alonso can put them on the site.

silencioso those 2 gangs are both latino.

im am just wondering how the old school gangs are going to hold up in the new gang era. the young cats seem to be banging the 2004 way they had colors on but also had the new style of dress code on too.
