it depends what state and where your at in the US. the south, southwest, and midwest is probably mexican. north, northeast i would say more puerto rican and dominican. southeast, cuban. overall i would say mexican because they are on alot of the western US.

Mexicans are the biggest latin group in the world, i think 150 million in Mexico, and several more million in the US. Boricuas are not deep, 3.9 million in PR and about 3 million in the US.

Also these are not races, they are ethnicities.

I would say that Amerindian or predominantly Amerindian is a pure Indio, whereas a Meztizo probably just has to have some Indian blood, funny thing is you could look white and still be called a meztizo.
